The worst. They can only kill 2 or 3 people at a time when adequately geared. Maybe 4 if you throw in engineering and consumables.
Sarcasm aside, you can’t just say “world pvp” as an all encompassing activity. There’s waaaay too many factors and scenarios you can run into.
Raid of 25 level 60s on a level 45 town? That’s world pvp.
Level 60 ganking level 20s? That’s world pvp.
You can look up Laintime pvp videos on youtube, a Vanilla High Warlord Warrior that does largely world pvp montages vs 1-4 people but often times they’re 55-60 and not very good or in terrible gear.
Laintime D is by far the best of the videos he put out, it actually has fights against competent and good geared people.

Without a pocket healer they can’t really 1 v 1 anyone, besides a rogue they get a jump on and a few other handful of bad players, barring a lucky crit and willingness to pop recklessness.
With a pocket healer you could, if the healer can survive 2 v 3 2 v 4 etc.

WPVP is very random. If a mage or hunter with any decent skill get the jump on you it is game over. Also this is the most gear reliant class in the game mind you.
I mean yeah free action potion would help a TON but that’s situational and a long CD.
Solo with crap gear?

Fairly certain op is referring to small scale fights like 1v1s or leveling considering he said no pocket healer.
The good warriors who are honest will tell you the 1 v 3 or even 1 v 4’s are against either under geared or really terrible players. Early Rank 14 Warriors will have the best Warrior gear in the game, so imagine how powerful they are. Without gear its a struggle, with gear its doable…with Rank 14 gear, welcome to Godmode.

Even 1v1 are way too situational with a bunch of ‘what ifs’.
If you get jumped while fighting a mob then you’re probably dead since it’s either kill or be killed at that point, there’s no escape for a warrior.
If you’re the aggressor then you should only be picking fights you can win anyway.
You don’t really have any options in world pvp as a warrior. The class is very simplistic and how a fight plays out is entirely in the hands of your opponent. If he makes critical mistakes or is severely outgeared he might lose, but your own skill doesn’t factor in to any meaningful degree. It’s a lot like the Heavy in Team Fortress 2.

Awby has the truth… Wpvp as a warrior is a cruel joke. You cannot do anything if you opponent is within 10 levels and has 2 brain cells.
You have no chance at all, but with a healer:
A lock will make it so you never get rage EVER with double sac, they will 2v1 you due to the lack of rage.
A mage will poly your healer and kill you.
You can gank hunters and other warriors if you bring a healer. That is it

Well I’ll share what I’ve experienced. I was a high level arena player during WotLK, originally leveled during TBC and was a bit of a noob until I figured things out towards the end of TBC expansion pack.
Simply put if you see me alone, I’m a pacifist. I don’t pick fights on my own, I lose in 1v1’s pretty often other than a couple fights against rogues below my level. Priests kill me in 1v1, pallies too, mages too, warlocks too (even lower level than me), druids too, essentially everyone.
But I don’t mind because when my resto druid friend gets on, I run rampant. And I understand that warrior power scales drastically with gear. So once I get raid gear I should be stronger.
They are absolutely horrible. Don’t even try WPvP. Go ahead and respec prot and go back to dungeons…

Don’t listen to people talking about wrath, or people talking about phase 6 which won’t be here for 1.5-2 years. It is an unplayable wpvp class, that is made playable with a healer but any hunter or rogue or mage or lock or shadow will do a FAR better job in team wpvp with that healer UNTIL phase 6
Answer is this simple:
Solo? No gear? Get rekt by literally everyone.
Have gear? Solo? Get rekt by anyone who knows how to kite or reset unfavorable trades. Or just any Demo/SL Lock or Shadow Priest who looks at you funny.
In a group? With a healer? Run W I L D. Have Windfury? Everyone is just a free HK, and the only other class that exists is meat. Red meat.
