So I would assume that the protection of the tomb/pillars of creation generally fell to the Armies of Legionfall aka all the order halls, we don’t see many of our champions return so I imagine there are some dedicated to protecting the tomb. However this leaves us with a problem, the Illidari. The Illidari have Naga among their ranks and for those of you who don’t know, it was confirmed in chronicle that the Illidari Naga were working there on Aszharas orders the ENTIRE time although that was never revealed in game so our characters seem to be pretty oblivious to that, I imagine the tidestone was not unguarded as we think, I don’t think people just forgot about it, just that the only protection it had was guards from the AOLF, some being Naga, still loyal to Aszhara. Unguarded to the worlds most powerful sorceress likely means “No crazy powerful wards.”
What do you all think?
strongest mortal creature planet has ever known who wants soemthing
vs
some random nobodies as guards.
my money is on Azshara taking what she wants and pity you to be on guard duty…

Wow really? I didn’t know this.
Now when people say, “But Naga worked with us” as an excuse to want playable Naga, that can be countered.
Yep, pretty much all Naga are evil, except the babies

I’m afraid not. N’Zoth’s taint is too deep. They will be evil when they are old enough to think for themselves.
Brainwashed I imagine. As we have low level quests where we make baby Naga happy and they come with us, and even now we can get baby Naga pets in Nazjatar.
You realize Azshara got the tidestone thanks to “butter-fingers” Khadgar accidently dropping it from Dalaran?
I think your explaination would fit better than anything Blizzard could come up with.
But how do you explain only taking the tidestone but leaving the rest behind?
I think if we keep filling the blanks for Blizzard, they’d never learn to write a proper story without plot holes.
But oh well, what really happened was probably like “This thing is powerful, so we are going to seal it off with the most powerful magic we know”. But they never expected their enemy to be one of the most powerful mage ever existed.
I have baby void lords and tiny sha but I wont pretend they are innocent creatures.
Even the sha of happiness?

Wrong villain. You are thinking of Sylvanas. I can see how you would get them mixed up.
Ew Sylvie better keep her rotting hands off of my offerings
They’re in different areas of the tomb, probably wasn’t worth increasing the risk that much when they only NEEDED the tidestone for their plans.
The plothole I want to know. maybe the alliance filled in that part. is how on Earth has ashvane go from being on slyvanis boat to working with the Naga
She was always working with the Naga. Working with Sylvanas was just to get her further along in Azshara’s plans.
Why did you think Sylvanas didn’t want you seeing where she was going?
