How’s everyone making Gold right now? I’m having a hard time finding motivation in leveling crafting with the sparks being a limiting factor and it seems most advanced crafted mats require a lot of awakened (frost, fire, decay, earth) resources which also requires a lot of farming.
I was doing okay with selling fishing mats, basic gathering mats (skins) and food but that has recently taken such a massive hit on the AH that it doesn’t even seem worth it.
Sell mats. People are still buying some of them at higher prices. Find those for now and hoard everything else for later to (hopefully) power level your profession(s).
Don’t really need gold that much without legendaries anymore, I get along just fine with like 200k and that’s putting in absolutely no effort to make money. I also blow through like 1-2k a night transmogging.
What do you really need gold for anymore anyway unless you’re buying all your gear, pets, mounts or something else.
I mean… nothing is going to beat just BUYING gold. merrrh
But if you just want to play the game and make money… do you have alts?
As I said in another thread, DF has not been given its due for being SUPER alt friendly when it comes to not even having to enter combat!
Each zone has a Racing game. You don’t even have to win gold or silver… as long as you just finish the race … you get 500g. So four tracks, twice a week, and for about 30mins of flying around you can make 4,000g. PER CHR!!! So if you had a nice alt-army of 10 chrs, that’s 40,000g PER WEEK. To just … fly the racing games.
Now add in more zone will also have a photography quest. Those are 250+g.
There are a good selection of rock climbing quests, they’re 250+g too.
And although they tend to involve a very modest amount of combat, there are fishing quests too that are good for 250+g.
So barring some of the fishing ones, YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO ENTER COMBAT. You don’t need gear. You just have to fly your tried self to the quest and get it done.
You could easily be making 50,000 per week. And you never have to enter combat once.
