Are you enjoying the WOD TW event or is it not as much fun as you where expecting.?

Iā€™ll always have some nostalgia as a person who ran hundreds of CMs in WOD. With that being said, would get boring after like 1 lol.

Iā€™ve only ran one so far since Iā€™ve been mostly doing seasonal stuff in D3 lately, gotta get them wings.

I got Slagmines, it was okay. Though getting to the last boss and remembering the days of Dark Simming the Channel Flames(from the trash right before) and then melting the boss with it made me sad. Those were fun times.

The toys from the TWā€™ing vendor are really underwhelming though. Oh wells.

Mmhmm.

I wish Priests still had Cascade and Grimrail was in the rotation. Many shenanigans on that train cause of Cascade, lol.

I didnā€™t play during WoD so itā€™s been fun for me. I donā€™t think thereā€™s any such thing as too many dungeon options.

Or even better, some form of ā€œMythic TWā€, because at least the other ones were such a mindless faceroll.

I remember the days! I started Dec 2015 and used my token to get to end game. I remember the iron docks so well that it was part of the grind for setting up garrisons. NPCs were harder to kill. Like demons bosses on Argus in Legion.

Those were the days ladies & gents :roll_eyes::joy::joy:

Iā€™m enjoying it not complaining cheers love the mounts glad they are usable on both factions. :blue_heart::heart:

3rd boss Iron docks, the slash combo is slightly overtuned & the aoe radius is off (Hits people behind / quite far off the side).
Killed off everyone except the healer in like 2 secondsā€¦

Our warrior got cleaved and brezā€™d right into another cleave last night on iron docks. Got absolutely demolished, so Iā€™d say youā€™re probably right.

That and I donā€™t remember rokhan in skyreach being so ball bustingly hard. We wiped 4-5 times on him and one shot the rest of the bosses.

The biggest issue Iā€™ve seen with Rokhan, after getting Skyreach on six out of eleven characters so far, is people forgetting to get the birds away from the piles before killing them. I know itā€™s hard to do that during Quills, but it seems like once everyone sees more than two up they just spam AoE and the two suddenly becomes twenty.

Honestly it made me sad because all I could think of the whole time were all the abilities we used to use in CMs that donā€™t exist anymore.

I just wish Blizz would do something about the TWā€™ing rewards. It seems that 385 gear for the time investment is a little low when we can do Emissaries for 395/400.

Itā€™s also odd that the 4 Mythic Week gives Heroic Raid level gear while TWā€™ing still only gives Normal. Either lower the Mythic week or bump up the other weeks.

TW dungeons are supposed to be easier to do than Mythic dungeons so it makes sense the reward would be less.

yeah too bad theyā€™re not. 4 mythic 0s is way easier than 5 timewalking dungeons.

Do you think itā€™s easier to do a Time Walking Pit of Saron or a Mythic Zero Freehold? Do you think itā€™s faster to do 4 Mythic 0ā€™s or 5 TWā€™ing Dungeons?

The only difficulty in the 4 Mythic Week is fighting the Group Finder Boss.

I donā€™t think they are but that is because blizzard mess up the tuning of the timewalking in beta. I actually loved how they were in beta before the ā€˜fixā€™ but you always have people complaining these should be HARD.

Eh, about average for TW, turns out I completely forgot the mechanics of the bird boss in Skyreach so on my first run of that we wiped on the quills once, then wiped to screech cause the tank wasnā€™t in melee range when quills ended, and then wiped to the exploding birds before we all remembered how to do the encounter.

One MAJOR disappointment for me is the lack of a Wrynnā€™s Vanguard commendation, been looking forward to WoD TW for a long time in the hopes of getting that nice tabard.

Iā€™m having fun. Itā€™s the first time Iā€™ve seen most of these dungeons.

They are a lot easier than wrath or bc TW except for one of the bosses in shadow labs. Idk if my whole team was standing purple or what but I had a hard time keeping everyone alive.

I like that I can use my legion legendaries. I dinged 2 days ago on my Druid and replaced my 2 LFR pieces with tw blues so Iā€™m going to spam some more this week.
