Personally, when I see that I got a quest to go into a Delve, I groan. Full disclosure; I’m doing them at level 3 because I haven’t unlocked level 4 yet. (I don’t know how & want to discover it organically; without reading a guide)
They aren’t fun to me and I don’t like the gimmick of not moving because of an air-totem or candle. (That’s not all of them or even a majority of them)
I love Brann. He’s funny (his commentary is great without ever becoming grating) and useful in a fight (his interrupts are wonderful). He’s helpful afterwards and suggests taking breaks and putting down campfires. He’s fantastic. He honestly feels like a freind to me, offering support and not falling into the NPC trope, of being pushy. ie; “C’mon, let’s go!” “Keep moving!” “We have to hurry!” “There’s not much time, hero! We have to keep pushing!!” Chef’s kiss to whoever designed Brann’s AI.
Maybe if there wasn’t monster spam inside of them? I don’t know, the feature is a huge miss for me personally. Reminds me of all the worst parts of Scenarios/Torghast/Island Expeditions all rolled into one. Being able to mount would be nice, maybe?
We’re not all the same and we don’t have to like the same things. Just because I’m not a fan doesn’t mean it’s a trash feature. I just wanna know, how are you guys enjoying it?

It doesn’t do much for me but it’s better than Torghast.
I, will do them.
I think they are probably great for people who enjoy doing solo challenges/content. But I can get the same enjoyment or more by doing a random dungeon.
Now if I could take an alt with me on a delve instead of Brann…

i didnt like these at first either, but either they were bugged initially or they’ve been changed so that you can run back to the previous air purifier or whatever and pick up another one, so they’re not near as bad. i dont have an issue with it
i like them overall. slightly difficult at level 3 but still easily doable. if they actually do end up dropping heroic gear, that fixes basically the one issue i had with torghast, which is that it didnt drop gear to allow you to keep climbing floors solo
Yes, I like the Delves.
I can do them alone, I’m not chased by the clock, I can go AFK for a few minutes if necessary, etc.
And for the type of content I do, the ilvl is more than sufficient.

They’ve been alright. A big step up from Torghast, which was boring, and those horrible BFA things you had to do the masks in where even if you did everything right you could just suddenly die for no reason. We’ll see if they remain alright a year in.
they’re kinda growing on me tbh

I’m liking them, but Magni tends to get in the way.
I just wish delves had a few more roguelike esque abilitys you can get per delve, instead of the 1-2 currently. That was my fav. part of torghast, the number and variety of extra powers
I mean so far so good, but then again Thorgast was also decent when it first came out. what matters is how they handle them and how they add to them.
I could see them being quite interesting as a piece of solo challenging content depending on how they deal with affixes, buffs, events things like that, though im not sure how they will handle that in regards to healers, tanks and DPS.
For anyone who has played Destiny 2, delves very much strike me as this games version of lost sectors and heroic lost sectors which are a fun little piece of content to do.
The only down side to these things, is that they have to keep them relatively fresh, or keep new ones coming, as doing the same thing over and over and over gets quite repetitive, even M+ now rotates old things which is good. We have a nice chunk of them now, but not enough to last a full set of season IMO.
they are great but brann needs to stop getting stuck
I grade them “incomplete” at the moment. I need to try the harder ones. They’re pretty easy right now. Brann often just gets in the way.

Yeah this is kinda one of the issues, they are super easy right now.
They feel like once again, Blizzard has no idea what to do with it.
Or some intern made them.
I like the premise. But it feels extremely bare bones and not fleshed out properly.
They’re alright so far. We’ll see how I feel during the season, when they become an actual challenge.
Between Brann and my lock’s pet crowding me it takes me a ridiculous amount of fussing and camera moves to click on small sparkly things.
Anyway, so far so good. I’m still leveling toon #1 so whatever, I still have several more of them to go.
They are all at sort of minimal bronze proving grounds level atm but I have no doubt they can become vastly harder.
Delves are okay, I feel like Braan doesn’t really provide much, if anything at all to the delves honestly. I’ll probably stop doing them when I get whatever achievements done that se attached to hrm given M+ should be the better gearing option anyhow.
Torghast was the best. Delves suck.

I want there to be a kind of Northrend Dark Citadel Delve. Inside is a giant undead gazing down upon me and moaning in a menacing toan while it’s eye beams try to blast me causing me to have to run for cover. Oddly there is one with a giant octopus thing in it if you stand in the circles.
