Every expansion since BFA I try to main shadow priest, and every time I just can’t get into it.
I just keep hoping it’ll finally have a well rounded design with a smooth rotation and good toolkit. But every expansion it feels like there’s always something wrong with it, and part way through I inevitably drop the spec and go back to mage or warlock.
I love shadow. It’s my absolute favorite caster in the game. I just want it to be good, and reach the levels of warlocks or mages for once. And I don’t mean out dps mages and warlocks, I mean I want it to feel as complete as mages and warlocks do. They have good designs, well rounded specs, and very strong toolkits. Shadow always seems to fall short on at least one of those things.
I just want the spec to feel good to play again
