Prices of mats have been dropping very sharply during EA.
Should we expect these to go higher on Monday, or crash harder?
Kind of feel bad for non-EAers who missed out on the insane goldmaking that happened last night. Hope it repeats so they get a shot.
We are seriously contemplating AH prices dropping over the course of 19 hours? This isn’t a Classic launch.
the prices should be not expensive… the ONLY reason its expensive is because the ONLY people able to get the items are the people who buy everything with gold or real money… so of course they will gouge the auction house when they are the only party able to partake. but when the masses come prices will come down. you know the real players and not the snobby elitists.
I didn’t expect them to be crazy prices but listing ore on the AH for 750g per ore and selling without 10 seconds was wild.
You do realize that some of the real players are so real they saved up the extra $6 to play EA, I hope?
Yes. The implication is those without early access could have missed out on a huge goldmaking opportunity at launch.
I have EA and I don’t think that’s fair at all.
If they were that concerned about it, they would have paid the $6. But with a lesser market the prices would be more skewed – a larger market would have less variance (both player number and server/cluster size). So, it would be nearly impossible to extrapolate anything from this alone.
They can’t “afford” $40 more for the CE, I doubt they will buy a token to get stuff on the AH.
Might be a good idea to have some kind of EA sponsorship with WoW:Midnight. Allow players who bought the CE the ability to grant one friend or guildie the ability to play with them on EA next time.
