This is minor downtime, back when Cataclysm was released in 2010 players were still running PCs from 2004 through 2008 and because everything “was running fine” then Cataclysm dropped and so did players FPS and internet or in some cases wouldn’t even run at all with the lowest settings and DirectX 9, on top of that players with 20mb connections had ping times in the 1000s everyday all day within the same city as the servers while other players were using Mobile Broadband services like Verizon 3g getting 57 ping halfway across the U.S. so in this current moment a couple hours of downtime is EZ mode.

This is common and going live has its own hiccups. Patience is a must grasshopper.

Too bad they cant do the maintenance over night while people sleep.

The tech crew has to sleep as well. They also need to be rested in order to fix any issues that might arise after maintenance.

That’s when I play…
