Stupid me socketed two shards before upgrading them and i can barely get 100 stygia per week in the maw. How the holy hell are you supposed to farm enough for the Bonesmith item to remove the gems. Seems easier to just trash the item and find a new one…
Got told by multiple folks in the maw they spend 19 hours each day farming… wtf
Do the events in maw they give lot of stygia
All the rares give about 50. Doing a quick loop nets you about 500 total. Do that for a few days and you’re golden. The chisel is permanent do you only need 2500.

Nope chisel is permanent and useable infinitely, the cost is a bit high IMO, yet at least blizzard wasn’t a total butt and made it single use or have charges.
You can do dailies in the maw, can reward 400-600 stygia if you’re lucky, or do various events (kill named mobs) and usually get 100 per event
Dont go to korthia for stygia
There is a korthia upgrade that lets rares drop more stygia (like 10 per rare/chest). So if you farm archivest codex rep everyday you should get it really easily in a few days. If you don’t need to upgrade korthia gear you can do korthia for conduit upgrades. Stygia is easy to get passively there.

HA Ion might as well shut the servers down if he did that ever, that would be the epitome of stupid ideas. It would be conduit energy 2.0, which they said didn’t work well and got called out NUMEROUS times in the beta. To be frank though it wouldn’t surprise me if they did this, as they were dumb enough to do half of what they did with system lands.

Also, a lot of us had tons of stygia from Season 1.
Also a daily treasure chest gives you 250 Stygia. It’s near the sanctum raid entrance
I wouldn’t worry about how people are getting stygia but rather you should ask yourself the question, “Why bother with bad design anymore”?
Then you stop getting stygia, stop playing SL and start having fun.

So, I was curious, since there’s not a lot to spend Stygia on anymore, and I saw that I have over 25,000 Stygia. Apparently, if you’re not trying to actively earn it, it can build up.
There are 10+ rares from Maw that can be solo’d easily in less 15 minutes tops. They now drop 57 Stygia each I think. If you’re lucky with timing, also bosses that drop 70~100 stygia. It is very easy now as not many players are farming stygia anymore. There is hardly any wait time for respawn.
God who ever you are getting your information from, ignore them. They are clearly a wealth of nothing but bad advise and news.
I have yet to find this location and ran all over the entrance to Sanctum
From grinding Korthia for the mounts I’ve amassed about 70k stygia. Most rares drop 80+, chests and shrooms drop some and I believe every mob you kill drops 1 or more.
