https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/us/bleeding-hollow/diviniumlol Level 20 but has a dragonling. I don’t understand how this is possible to get a lvl 20 dragonling if the recipe is lvl 33?
It’s BoE, not BoP. They’re buying it or making it on another character.
Binds when equipped.
Except the trinket itself requires level 33.
Yes BoE but the level requirement to wear it is 33, so how does a level 20 have it? The recipe itself ingame says lvl 33 required to wear… but the armory has a 20 twink with a level 20 version on somehow. Seen this a few times this week and completely baffled on how that is being done.
The one they have equipped literally says it requires level 20. Could be something to do with Chromie time and the squish, you know to ensure every aspect of every expansion is scaled down and usable within that expansion.
The one that’s equipped in the portrait he linked is showing a required level of 20. Perhaps it got grandfathered with the squish?
If it were a drop that’s one thing, but since its crafted, I do not believe crafted items scale. Since it is a BOE that is on the AH and from engineering, it requires level 33 to wear…
But yes, the fact the one on the armory says lvl 20 is confusing to me, that’s what I am trying to figure out lol, how it got scaled.
@Atsumisa: Yes, but I am literally looking at my engineer ingame, and the dragonlings on the AH all say level 33 requirement to use the BOE. That is why I am confused how a level 20 version exists.
Yes I know. I can read.
I was simply pointing out that with the squish, the trinket is supposed to be a level 33 requirement.
Yes… I know what the trinket equipped says. And that is a theory, yes.
Don’t think so since the recipe itself says level 33 ingame at the moment. The only way I can think of is if he had it on before the squish buuut I doubt it :o
Looks grandfathered, same way azerite gear was.
Just confusing. What level was BFA before the squish? Seems like they shouldnt scale all the way down to 20. I have some level 85s infact that squished down to 30-35, so this is very strange indeed. No idea where that Zanchuli Mantle comes from, wowhead has nothing.
Just confirmed it another relic of the past item, never personally used it so wasn’t sure, but that means it’s 100% intended to be able to be used on that level 20.
How do you mean? Can you explain? Relic of the past?
It’s a way to make crafted gear for different brackets by scaling it down.
For example my tailor can take the savage tailoring set from wotlk, and scale it down to a lower minimum level requirement by apply a relic of the past token to it for the specific bracket I want.
Aah I see. Thats ingame right now? What does it require?
Each profession can make relics of the past for their specific recipes and patterns, requires some of the new regeants, never did much of it outside of an alchemist stone once, so don’t know the exact mats required, and eligible gear off the top of my head.
Thanks! I had no idea that was a thing tbh
It wasn’t much of a thing after Blizzard nerfed it.
The real question is, how do they equip the Cogwheels for the trinket? I’m interested in what your suppose to do if anyone knows?
