How are Feral druids in cataclysm doing less damage than Feral druids in wrath?

Why and How are Feral druids in cataclysm doing less damage than Feral druids in wrath?

because in wrath they had a glyph that made them not only easy to play but godmode, cataclysm they removed it and will not add it back.

Druids are connected to nature you see… the Cataclysm sundered their connections. This left a big hole in their DPS… my condolences. I understand Green Jesus is also to blame…

All you had to do was be able to press faerie fire on cooldown and you were the best!

f you complain because a class got an ability that provides you clear casting only once every 6 secs, you have an issue. They didn’t add it for no reason , the class sucks without something that doesn’t force you count to 3 before you can press another cat damage ability.

In wrath shamans literally clearcasted everytime they critt during wrath, for class comparison.

Ferals were doing 40k+ in wrath? Dang they really did overtune that class with the glyph. Probably shouldn’t have added it in the first place.

So many feral rerolls when that glyph became a thing. So many that would have never ever ever played it if it wasn’t op

The sub 40 minute ICC speedrun by NotA brought 4 of them. Even Ahlaundoh played feral. And he had like 3 warriors for all of classic->tbc lol.

Imagine a class being so strong that a guy who notoriously mains and only parses on 1 specific class swaps to the massively overtuned one.

Every parse fiend had one. Just like now in cata they all have dks ele sham and fire mages.

They don’t have some gimmicky glyph that procs OoC on every faerie fire (that was such a silly thing, I can’t believe people just accepted it like it’s a reasonable design).

Anyway, are you having any issues getting a raid spot as a Druid who will only play kitty dps?

Cata is wizard expac. Embrace boomkin

Every xpac is wizard xpac, WCL max percentile is lies. Fire mage has always been king, and the like one time it wasn’t it’s was warlock.

he parsed #1 in every single spec in wrath, u def got ur information wrong

He had #1’s on warlock and warrior throughout ulduar. He didn’t swap to feral until the buff. He had a max level feral in his gdkp’s the same week it got buffed.

And here I thought Feral was top dawg (erhmm cat) in the rankings…

Jokerxd had a feral after the buff too

nota is an eu guild and he switched to play with them at the start of icc, the problem with warrior is that it needs a shadowmourne and that shadowmourne takes time, meanwhile you can just gear the feral 0 to 100 if his items drop

feral is also better than warrior at speedrunning, they are less likely to die and they have a bres, they are standing in remorseless winter during LK for example and a feral takes 30% less damage from that

I never said he didn’t? He did however immediately level and gear a feral during ulduar after it got buffed, after posting only r1’s of lock and warrior up to that point. Edit to correct myself, throughout ulduar he posted R1 dps on individual bosses on, aff lock, fury war, surv hunter, and fire mage. 2-3 times on fire mage, once for surv hunter, and like 9 times each for fury and aff.

Even then, the NOTA speedrun happened in the last like 2 months of wrath, RS was already out. The whole reason I even brought up Ahlaundoh is that it was obvious the moment it got buffed it was too much because he’s had multiple warriors for every phase of classic and he IMMEDIATELY started decking out a druid to play in speedruns.

And it becomes even more obvious when you know the standard icc speedrun comps are very ranged heavy (fire mage/boomie/hunter) because they either provide utility or can hard burn lich king during the transitions. The fact that FOUR ferals were brought should be a blatant example of how overtuned feral became.

Ikanaide clearly has a bios against ferals.

The class definitely needs a buff, we don’t even need it to be top 10 damage, just make it competitive to the other melee classes, most feral druids already quit the game already, unless they are tanking.
