Hey dudes, I’m a bit washed and only play to get elite mogs now that im a papa, are dks any good right now? I’m trying to grind out the conquest points to get the glad set and I am having a heap of trouble. My dps is getting dominated pretty much every game. I feel like frost is even more gimmicky than it was before now, and unholy just feels like I’m throwing wet napkins at dudes. If I’m just doodoo right now I’ll just stick to it until it clicks, definitely feels bad compared to previous iterations.
Unholy sucks rn but it does excel at overwhelming people at elite set-ish mmr.
It’s super squishy rn and healers can’t keep you alive until your 2nd abomb but just make sure you do good damage and get good kicks/strangs and it should be totally fine to get the elite set (which looks great this ssn)
Use your chains of ice to kite when you’re in trouble.
It’s some tech that I rarely see any dks use except the extremely good ones.
Yeah chains + horsie makes melee very frustrated and recommend blood forge armor into any physical damage
I’ll put it this way. I got the elite set on Frost and I will not be touching the class again until they either get major buffs, or a full rework. I’m not even joking.
Pillar of Frost being countered so easily by disarm makes me want to throw my keyboard against the wall

I think DK is probably one of the worst melee atm because of how weak it is into physical damage. Can definitely get an elite set, just grab a resto druid and hunter or warrior, but you’re going to be scared for your life vs every warrior you fight.
I’d recommend saving blind to use defensively on their offensive go, try to get both dps in it and healer if you can for a bonus, chains and run, and bloodforged armor is deceptively strong.
