We’ve had Dragon Isles architecture in the game files since vanilla. People have absolutely been saying it for years.
Azshara Crater BG inc. Guaranteed.
Island expeditions in BFA introduced a previously unknown to us (and Wrathion) community of black dragons apparently from the Dragon Isles.
This,
I think the leak is too good to be true. And while Blizzard is capable of delivering it, I don’t see them doing that much work.
It’s completely fine to fantasize, but I’ve seen these leaks leave many disappointed with the reality. Even if it is true, this could be a dev wishlist that changes, and removes parts.
How long have you been here??? Every time it’s getting close to time for a new expansion, Dragon Isles comes up. Literally every time. For years.
I’ve been here since 2006. It’s been a small handful of people who say this.
Nobody actually believes it.
Only tauren and humans should be playable races for black dragons.
There’s a reason demon hunter only had one race per faction.
Yes. The lore.
How funny would it be if they took this exact next expansion as the time to actually observe their lore and lock playable Black dragons to earth Shaman?
Zarno…just shut your mouth. Got it?
Just them or all dragons?
It’s a leak that isn’t real. There are no playable dragons. Someone made stuff up.
I actually have a reason for this we only have seen black dragons be either tauren or humans. Wraithon and ebonhorn
Imagine caring about lore consistency. What a nerd. I don’t associate myself with nerds.
The problem is elves have too many classes on top of that a exclusive class.
?
Been playing for years and last few weeks is first I’ve ever seen DI mentioned anywhere.
Last one I remember people clamoring about was Emerald Dream and we saw what they did with that.
Been playing for years and last few weeks is first I’ve ever seen DI mentioned anywhere.
That doesnt change the fact that its been ‘leaked’ as an expansion pretty much every single expansion cycle since the end of vanilla.
We’ve had this building from the Dragon Isles in the game files since vanilla.
while Blizzard is capable of delivering it, I don’t see them doing that much work.
old Blizzard yeah maybe not but now they may as well have Microsoft telling them make it so as it’d be a major cash cow. Sadly if all Microsoft turns out to care about is the games like CoD and Overwatch we may be hurten for another expansion to begin with. Either way…if we get dragons who can be any race I wanna see worgen get their tails and players being able to be a vulpera paladin with dragon horns and fire abilities. I mean the only majorly hard thing to do would be the dragon druid idea… unless they try for how they did stuff like the Zandalar trolls where the druid forms are reptilian in nature
There is no way Blizzard, especially modern Blizzard, is going to dedicate all that time and effort to give every single playable race in the game dragon characteristics for a playable race that supposedly functions like worgen. Especially when you add in it supposedly being a new druid race which has its own art assets added to the mix.
You kind of just proved why it’s probably not BS.
Players have been wanting class options expanded to other races. Off the top of my head I’ve seen stuff like Void Elf Druids/Paladins, Blood Elf Druids/Shamans, Zandalari Warlocks, Dwarf Druids, Gnome Druids/Paladins, Mechagnome Druids/Paladins, Vulpera Druids/Paladins, Kul Tiran Paladins, Night Elf Paladins, Draenei Warlocks, etc…
Now, rather than trying to add all of those classes and inventing a bunch of race specific totems/druid forms for each individual race, they can make one additional race, with one set of totems/druid forms, and be done with it.
As for adding Dragon characteristics to a bunch of races, it’s as easy as copy/pasting and tweaking things. Playable dragons as outlined in that one leak are the low-effort addition.
You’re a nerd solarion, be quiet. Imagine typing that much for a forum argument.
