I’m curious what formula they’re using. I’ve found some of the old arena calculations from original TBC, and based on my rating from last week, the arena points I received don’t match up.
It seems to me like I got points for the hidden MMR the game has in the background, since it’s around the team ratings we were playing against near the end of the week.
Has anyone seen anything from blizz on this? Is anyone else seeing the same thing?
It’s 100% coming from team rating, rounded up. Calc says 669 for me at 1800, and I got 670.
Maybe they changed the calculation for less than 1500 rating, then?
I got 226 arena points but my 2v2 team is only at 1035 rating. I expected to only get 183 points.
I do believe they boosted the points below 1500 because they started teams at 0 instead of 1500
