How annoying (or not) was poison management for rogue?

Since you had to craft them… Were they cost much? How powerful they were? How common were resources for them? Would you use them on leveling?

They weren’t a problem. If I remember correctly you just bought the items from the poisons supplier. I’m pretty sure the cost was completely reasonable as well.

For some reason, I remember rogues being herbalists for their poisons, but maybe they were just because they could stealth around and snatch the nodes from people.

I was an engineer and miner on my rogue and managed to get poisons. ALTHOUGH I did start in tbc >.> so my advice could be completely irrelevant lol.

You could get some ingredients from pick pocketing and unlocking loot boxes or buying them from vendor and making them.
They weren’t expensive they were an ok price, and I would use them for leveling.
Instant poison because I wouldn’t want my gouge or blind be interrupted and they weren’t very powerful they had limited charges and proc chance.
Blind weed I believe it was that you needed for blind powder could be gathered.

The only herbs you need are swiftthistle for thisle tea and fadeleaf for blind powder. You can get those pretty easily on AH. You can go herbalism but I prefer LW/Skinning so I can make my own gear.

wouldn’t LW become quite useless when you start getting armor sets? While alchemy and engineering will stay useful forever. Re-leveling prof would be pretty annoying and slow

You can sell the gear too. Devilsaur sets sell for a ton. You could drop it if you want. Personally, I am usually a guilds LW. I get all the rare patterns to help out my guild. I can also sell those items for quite a bit of gold too. Every hunter/warrior/ret pala/rogue is going to want devilsaur sets. They require cured rugged hide. Basically every part of the devilsaur set sells for tons of gold.

Personally, my rogue is always LW and my druid which I level up next is always alchemy. I typically can make anything I need because one of my alts has the profession required.

Not annoying at all. It’s fun and you get some mats by pickpocketing. When they removed them in the pre-wrath patch I knew we were going downhill.

Not annoying. Just have to have the reagents. I think Paladin buffing was the worst reagent wise.
