I’ve farmed thousands of Kobolds since full release, gotten a grand total of 0 cloth. They’re humanoids and were dropping cloth in the early access. Yesterday I did 6 heroics, I got a total of 2 cloth. All done on a tailor.
I’m getting a bunch of cloth from questing.
See the tailor first, then go out hunting to get threads. threads = cloth.
Edit - Same goes for Engineers… you need to see the engineer 1st to be able to get pile of rusted scrap.
Are you putting points into the talent that increases cloth gains?
I was wondering the same, though I am hardly getting any cloth from any humanoid. I get more cloth via mining webbed ore on my mining alt. And strangely enough, satchel rewards earned from completing tailoring patron crafting orders give me leather products. I think I have something like ~20 knowledge points in Textile Treasures.
Professions are crap. The more people that refuse to do them, the faster they will fix them.
This your first expansion?

I get hundreds in 3-4 hours of just killing mobs for quests. How are you not getting any drops? That doesn’t make any sense.
that unhinged response followed by your gif made me spit my drink all over my laptop. hats off to you, good sir.
OMG, anything but you silencing me.
Now how will I ever be able to go on with my life???
I’m getting about 80 cloth and 12 bolts per dungeon. You need to specialize in the final tailoring specialization. Gives you like 55% additional cloth drops.
I, personally, have been doing Darkcleft on FOLLOWER mode, clearing the first three rooms and resetting. There are also Cloth 2x4 groups in the LFG finder that you can join.
Cloth is everywhere, brother.
I am getting tons of cloth, I am not sure why you are having an issue.
Unfortunately if people stop using a feature, then blizzard will stop adding it to each expansion instead of improving it. Archeology is a good example.
