How am i supposed to increase my rep with the 7th legion?

i’ve done every 7th legion world quest on the map, ran all over the three zuldazaar zones looking for more quests. it tells me i need to “increase my rep with the 7th legion to continue”

this is utter crap. i can see putting the rep grind to revered behind some time gating with world quests to slow down pathfinder and dark iron dwarves unlock, but i’m playing the story here and now you stop me?

The answer is yes.

Look for Assault timers which come up every 19 hours; the homeland gives 500 rep to 7th Legion and 500 zone faction while the away gives 1000 rep to 7th Legion, not including the 4 to 5 prerequisite quests. You can also use a Contract which gives a bonus 10 rep for every WQ you complete.

Lots of catchups in the game already that people didn’t have last year when the expansion started. I don’t think they need more so that people can complete all content in a couple of weeks.

Pretty much what Jerauld said. I went crazy with the rep grind and did everything I possibly could (outside of grinding every WQ on the map for the contract rep.) The rep grind took me 3 days, iirc.

Do your war campaign as soon as it continues to unlock, do the assaults, emissaries, all the WQ on the map for the opposing faction’s zones, and donate to the warfront contribution phase whenever it’s up. Pretty much all you can do currently (at least as far as I’m remembering.) GL with the rep grind.

Islands are 7th legion rep (turn in) also so are azerite turn ins for the war effort.

Pretty sure EVERY world quest in Zandalar gives 7th Legion rep. Even turtles making it to the water.

Unfortunately they are largely gated behind world quests, you’ll have to just wait till more world quests to pop up. The cynic in me says they’ve designed it this way to run your sub out and force you to resubscribe rather than allow you to grind at your own pace.

Seventh legion is one of the easiest reps out there. But it is a little bit time gated. Just play the content, do invasions, do emissaries, do warfronts, do some mission tables and do the quest chain. You’ll find there’s a bit of a gap somewhere around the first few thousand into revered, but after a couple of days doing almost nothing but the big rep boosts, you’ll have the rep. Once you restart the quest chain, you’ll find yourself moving swiftly through the rep towards exalted. Indeed, chances are you’ll hit exalted with 7th legion before you even hit revered with the other factions (and way before tortollon and Champions of Azeroth).

Don’t forget the world quests in Arathi and Darkshore when you control them.

All of this ^^ that was the best answer given. Kudos to Ippollite

i’m trying to do the quest chain. i’m not farming the rep for any purpose, i’m just wanting to do the quest line. this is frustrating that i have to farm rep to finish the story.

Doing your weekly island cap will give 1500 7th Legion rep as well.

This is just one of the reasons why people want classic

How are you not exalted, with umpteen paragon caches by now? Did you start BFA yesterday?

Every freaking thing, was 7th legion rep.

Mission board quests.

Every time there are rares World quests, like right now in Arathi.

Emissarys , CONSTANTLY.

The World quests, on the Horde areas, CONSTANTLY.

are you kidding? even if i have to wait for more world quests this is still better than classic’s reputations with their ungodly numbers of materials turn-ins, total lack of daily repeatables and pitifal pittance of rep returns for grinding this or that mob.

resubbed about a month ago. still gettin my feet under me. what’s a paragon cache? is that the thingy when i do four world quests for the same rep faction? and i just spent the past couple of hours doing EVERY WORLD QUEST i could find on the map that said “7th legion”. still wasn’ enough to unlock the next quests:(

4 heroic islands weekly quest = 1500 rep, 4 more tomorrow after reset = 3000.

It is the easiest BfA rep to get exalted, but is still a pita.

i don’t need exalted, i just want to do the quests

The same thing happened with the Suramar questline in Legion when it was current. You had to be almost exalted (20k out of 21K into revered) to get the last chapter of the Good Suramaritan story.

The rep requirements to continue the Suramar questline were removed as part of a hotfix just after patch 7.3.

Reputations exist in Classic. Get ready to farm a lot of runecloth if you want a different mount. Of course the story doesn’t require the reputation, but getting the reputation now is immeasurably easier.
