I don’t see why all achievements can’t be account wide. Or at the very least post your account achievement total under your guild achievement points. It is very annoying trying to get multiple toons completed on the same achievements when some of them are extremely difficult. We have some achievements that are already account wide and I don’t see why they all can’t be.

Could not agree more. Way more things should be account-wide. And truely account wide. It’s still bizarre that in Guild roster’s alt’s have way lower achievements points listed.
Achievements, Professions & Reps should 100% be account-wide by now.
There are only a few problem reps like you mentioned, but at this point, just remove the “conflict”. let us be exalted with everyone potentially. This makes even more sense in the context of cross-faction updates.
Regardless of Race, I should be able to earn Exalted with anyone if I put in the work.
There should just be a “Professions” tab that houses all professions for your account. Any character can level them from wherever they are. Makes it’s so much easier.
And achievements should just be fully account-wide, not held back by tagging them to a Character still.
They already did it with transmog, mounts and pets. Just take the extra two-steps and do it for it all.
Playing different characters, especially in new expansions/tiers, should be as easy and smooth as possible. It’s annoying that I feel like I have to do everything rep related on one character, etc.
Gear should be the only single character gate-keeper imo. I think you should have to earn the highest levels of gear in heroic/mythic raids, high mythic+ dungeons, and rated PVP content.
There should be no other way to match those ilvls in any other way. That is how you separate it still.
But beyond that, the other aspects of the game should be made way more account-wide friendly.
Do the right thing Blizz…
I wish they would do this. Make all achievements account wide. I spent 6 months (sounds stupid to some, but achievement hunters will understand) trying to decide on changing my main. I had played a priest since the middle of TBC. Switching to any other toon would mean starting over again. I’m still pondering going back to my priest come DF just because of it.
Same. Warlock was my main forever. I no longer raid due to IRL time, but I still like to play and do achievements, reps, mounts, questing, etc.
But lately, I have wanted to play my Shaman and Druid more (Healing dungeons is fun). But I feel like I waste my time on those characters because all of my stuff is tied to my warlock.
I really hope cross-faction is the start of breaking down the horde/alliance barrier. I would prefer a good/bad starting position (Kind of like EQ), but you can earn all reps if you put in the work.
Would instantly create a lot of new reps for players to earn anyways without coming up with brand new ones. It would also allow some folks (like me) to play a more role player friendly race for my class without it having to be “horde” or “alliance”.
I would love if my priest could be a Draenei for example.
Here is to Dragonflight fixing a lot of these archaic systems and bringing the game into a much better account-wide standing.
With cross faction implemented and more additions coming to supplement it as well as reps being the biggest annoyance for alts, I’d love if cross factions reps were available (Stormwind, Ironforge etc being available to Horde and vice versa) except have those factions start at Hated instead of Neutral and allow cross faction mounts (and pets) to be usable by the opposite faction assuming you meet the rep criteria.
As the old saying goes, give people an inch and they’ll want a mile.
