How about being able to pay for services using in game gold

As title says, would be a good gold sink.

Have you heard about the token system?

That’s the neat part, you can.

Buy tokens, convert them to Blizzard store balance, and then you can use it to buy services and other Activision/Blizzard products. For example, you can buy CoD, D4, or D4 in-game purchases using WoW gold through this process.

what are you wanting to do that we can’t do already?

I think they want to cut out the middleman.

Its a nice idea, but with the constantly fluctuating value of gold I don’t see how that would be possible on Blizz’s part. Converting gold to tokens makes it into a more stable currency. 1 token will always = $15

Everyone has known we can buy stuff like Race Changes and Server Transfers since WoD so I don’t think he’s talking about that service.

I think he’s talking about buying the services you can find being advertised in the Services chat channel.

Well those services are “supposed” to be for gold only. :stuck_out_tongue:

Refer to my first comment.

Step 1: Buy a WoW Token from the Auction House with in-game gold.
Step 2: Convert the WoW Token into Battle.net Balance instead of game time.
Step 3: Profit.

This is what i was referring to, and i completely forgot about the tokens

This would result in Blizzard losing a lot of money and botters making a ton of it by selling gold or services in game.
