I hate when I miss a piece of loot because I don’t see it linked in raid chat. This would be a great solution.

There already is an automated roll for loot. You just don’t see it. If you get an item, you were the top 3 or so.

And the system would cause time hang ups. 100% a person doesn’t click or goes afk whatever, or better yet imagine the tickets when someone clicks roll by mistake when they wanted to keep the piece. The trading isn’t only active for 5 mins, you have an hour.
I know you didn’t start this thread, but really there are so many more important things that need fixing.

Which if you read between the lines, means they don’t care that it was already rolled on and they lost, because it still has a possibility of being equipped by them. Therefor should be rolled off another time. It’s the greedy loot version of, it’s not over til the fat lady sings.
How would this happen? The player that wanted to put his item up for a roll could do so. And the person that don’t want to put his item up for a roll don’t have to.
That’s how, missclicks, duh.

I’ve seen that happen often enough that I think if someone is typing a response and doesn’t type for 15 seconds or so, their image disappears from below the post.
You want a window, someone misclicks. Ask any enchanter if they ever broke down a piece of gear… I know I have. They hit yeah let them roll when it pops by mistake. You are the one who wanted menus…
Again, this system would cause more headaches for blizzard than anything, your unwillingness to think of the potential aftermath is on you.
It doesn’t have to automatically appear, they could require you to manually drag your item into a box.
That reminds me, on my pally alt, I was going through boe mog, got lag and in between equipping the item and vendoring items, I vendored the actual cloak my pally wears. I didn’t noticed till I had gone through and cleared out my whole bags. I did have like a phantom piece of loot still sitting there. The cloak I was wearing. It was gone after relogging. Should have checked when it lagged and not just skipped past it.
Oh so now instead of a roll, we need them to design a box, to drag stuff to… when all you need to say is anyone want this? A lot of added steps…

And this thread is all because the OP got butthurt that somebody who needed a piece of gear asked for it and got it, when she thinks she deserved to have an equal shot on getting it because people who are badly geared don’t deserve to get upgrades from generous strangers.
