I mean look at my current mog. A plague doctor would be terrified to have their ears exposed. Why can’t we hide our ears for certain helms? It could totally work as an option.
Same goes for our ridiculously sharp apparently eyebrows that poke out of sometimes plate helms.
You want to be an elf. With hidden ears. And hidden eyebrows.
Why not just play a human at that point? Basically neutering the race with that.
You’re missing the point. I just think it’s silly for some looks to have the ears and eyebrows magically sticking through them. Our headpieces don’t have ear holes if they cover the head so it just looks weird.
If the face is visible then of course the eyebrows make sense. I’m not asking for a “hide these when my head has no headpiece on”
If you are referring to being able to hide things when helms are on… the. Sign me up! While we are at it, I’d love to have a separate hair option to go with helms as well.

Sometimes being an Elf comes with it’s downsides, like perfect hair, a refined culture and Big. Pointy. Ears.
So… If you hide your hears, what organ are you going to use to hear?
It seriously makes no sense to have them piercing through metal or hoods when there’s no ear holes.

Don’t see why you can’t scrunch up the ears into the helm.
Right? It’s like how in Skyrim there’s mods for Argonians and Khajiits to “cut” their tails and not have them visible if you’re wearing certain caped armor. That way the tail isn’t clipping through the cape and looking stupid.
There is no reason ears or eye brows should be sticking through armor, plate armor at that!
If I want to show off my eleven face appendages I can hide my helm, however if I do decide I am going to don a helmet and go into battle, then I have clearly made the decision to cover up and therefore have no requirement to show off my beautiful pointy stuff.
I have a lot of Blood Elves, they all hide their helmets, it’s just this one that doesn’t, so I’m not trying to be “not an elf” I just want my armor to be pretty, and make logical sense and not look like a Mr Potato Head.
They aren’t horns, they are floppy, delicate and susceptible to battle damage, I find this unacceptable frankly, if you cared about my ears you’d let me protect them you monsters! 
I have the exact opposite problem on Draenei. I often hide my helmet on them because I don’t understand why my horns don’t stick out. My head shrinks half its size putting a helmet on.
So play a human
I’ve seen this a few times and don’t understand how not wanting my ears clipping somehow equates to me needing to play a human.
Humans are Alliance.
Humans are shorter and stumpier, not slim and elegant and I have a character, thank you very much.

Metal is stronger than Eyebrows and ears. Simple as that. It should be a thing.
You can pick the short ears option and they will be almost totally hidden.
Your request is silly. Tauren have horns/antlers. Trolls have tusks. Elves have long ears and eyebrows. Thems the breaks.
