Step 1: Queue for Comp Stomp.
Step 2: Say you’re defending Stables.
Step 3: AFK (but don’t actually GO AFK) at Stables.
Step 4: Get Renown.
Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4.

It’s actually less effort to join the Zerg to sawmill.
AI always tries to back cap stables. They rarely try to do the same for mill.

I had two pop up so I couldn’t afk, had an ally come help me out.

idk I press Mindbender and kill the druid/rogue instantly and then AFK for a little while.
I had to double back and cap farm 4/5 games last night cause no one else did lol

What is this ‘renown’ reward you speak of? I ran about 20 of these things and got no stinking renown!!
Wasn’t renown capped either. Odd.
Speaking of odd, my Guardian Druid got ‘stuck’ in Shadow Form. Lasted half the day, had the SP buff on me too. Was bugged from the comp stomp I guess?
In case anyone was wondering, yes a void form Druid looks pretty good (in all forms) now I want a Void Bear. 
My druid, paladin, warrior that I ran comp stomp on all got renown for each win.
Maybe you didn’t notice or they changed something [possibly bug]?

It was really odd. I was fighting the healing priest, I was at full health, she was about to die, hit her with a thrash and I died….turned into a priest, so I cast heals in angel form until I got sent to the graveyard.
Match ended and I no longer had the SP buffs or form.
Unless I’m unaware of something, ya, that sounds like a big ol’ bug.
Wish I could recreate it. It gave me the additional 10% SP buffs. Heh.

You know what is frustrating about this?
Blizzard will look at this and say “everyone is farming renown on comp stomp, let’s nerf the drop rate”. Rather than asking themselves, “hmm…everyone seems intent on blowing through the renown gates…I wonder why”.

Yeah, it’s predictable of 'em.

My alt went 16-39 in just over an hour yesterday.
This has been a great week to swap to each covenant and catchup on renown. I also learned the Kyrian campaign is pretty good.

Did you notice any weird sticking point around the 40 renown mark? Having all quests turned in that could be done, it took 5 battles to get from 38-40…but then renown started to come in each win again.
