Title, but we need a hover and flight ability to assist in building our homes for builds requiring higher heights. Its extremely difficult to build some things without it.

I’m surprised we can’t “free cam” while building outside. Just have it use the Far Sight tech but let you float around

Strictly for outdoors, but you can use the old style flying for exactly that.
Nah the problem is indoors for the lager rooms, outdoors it doesn’t matter because we can already fly. We definitely need a free cam or a hover/flight for placing items in the larger rooms.
I was building my mage library and it was a nightmare trying to reach the higher portions of the room with constantly having to build other objects to jump on.

I feel like when you hit the edit button, you should be able to fly around. or have the option to turn into a wisp-- something small and unintrusive so you can fine tooth comb every pixel.
started my allie house and oooo boy, the irritation that comes with being diminutive in-game is something else. fall off, grab platform, up/jump up/jump up/jump… only to inevitably fall off again and have to repeat. arson starts to look good around the third time.
