We should be able to use hover while casting and not break the spell. (unless it is empowered)
Honestly, even if it is empowered, I think Fire Breath shouldn’t be interrupted by hover and should be castable while moving with hover. It doesn’t seem THAT powerful that it requires this restriction. As far as I understand it, it isn’t even worth charging up Fire Breath anyway.
This is from a Devastation perspective, I dunno what Preservation is like.
yeah some QOL like not canceling stuff like hover firebreath and especially disintegrate when walking would be nice.
We’ve been saying that in the beta feedback thread for months and Blizzard refuses to listen to us.
For Pve, charging fire breath or not will really depend on what you are fighting. If it’s just a pack that will die quickly, then full charged is better, as they won’t live long enough for the lvl 1 dot to do much. Even in mythic+ or raids, if a priority target needs to be bursted down fast, that is another good use for full charge. Though if fighting a pack that will live long then lvl 1 is better, and pretty much same for bosses.
I’d be willing to guess that the hover/empower limitation will be removed by the end of this expansion.
we should be allowed to move while channeling empowered spells.
