It would be fantastic if we could add a room or two to the bottom floor of the stairwell: left/right. There are 2 empty walls that could place a room with no issue of the stairs clipping over a doorway. As it is, its kind of restrictive only being able to add a room to the same position on the stairways top and bottom floor.
The empty staircase room can provide this positioning and function but then placing a staircase to access the top floor uses a lot of budget and leaves a lot of empty space.
