Does anyone know if the idea of having housing items (when it goes live) as a choice in the vault has been mentioned? I think I saw somewhere that a chest or table was listed as a drop from a raid or dungeon, and, as someone who doesn’t do that content but is very interested in furniture items, it got me thinking that having a choice of an item like that from the vault would be very nice.
Just wondering if this has been mentioned anywhere, thank you!
the thing is when we get the housing items from raids. if i recall they were going to add them in old raids also
I just remembered, you don’t really choose what you get from the vault? I only used it a few times a while back with delves.
I was thinking you got a choice, but now I think I’m remembering that wrong.
Still would be nice if housing items would appear, but I suppose if it’s for gear upgrading, a random house piece as a reward probably wouldn’t be appreciated by most

Vault rewards come from doing content and are power driven so it wouldn’t make sense to take a vault slot. That said I suppose a currency option to buy housing items wouldn’t be out of the question.
Edit: I have already changed my mind. I want a vault slot housing item that is a table and all you can do with it is flip it so you can show everyone how upset you are that it took up a vault slot. All hail housing items dropping from the vault.

The vault was never mentioned. Doing content, shopping with vendors, getting it from achievements, trading post, and potentially cash shop bundles. It will never see the vault.
I dont like your idea of choosing House items over gear. That’s not the WoW I want. I also never thought of plaguing AH with House items. Pillows, tables, chairs, wall clock on AH??? That’s not the WoW I signed for 20 years ago. I dont want World of WarCraft changed into WarCraft DollHouse game. Imagine redoing Theater of Pain or Necrotic Wake in the future to farm for pillows and tables. It’s so corny.

I very much respect your opinion, but WoW has changed in ways that I don’t care for either; we all have to adjust to that, and I might as well hope a little of that change swings my way 
I invested on this game for 20 years since Vanilla. WoW lived for 20 years and would continue to live longer without housing.
I thought of Housing as a replacement to Mount rewards since Mounts are now very saturated in the game. But still I prefer to have a Mount rewards over a Furniture rewards since I have no interest play the digital dollhouse. Dollhouse is just like a transmog. Just do it once then dont touch it. I have no plans to spend a lot of time on it to pretend I live on that house like a kid. I never wished for a dollhouse. I thought housing is just a background display when we log in to the game to choose which Warband toon to use. Nothing more.
I will continue to be a friction to this feature as I dont like its gameplay. Furniture on AH?? Spending long time on building a dollhouse?? Playing dressed up Barbie game or Home building Sims on WoW?? Nope, nope and nope.
