Housing Decor bug?

My Brazier of Elune is no longer placeable outside….after I just removed it from outside

Yep, blizz took away a bunch of outdoor things.

I suppose the brazier is due to lighting issues still, but cannot confirm.

Other things make no sense, like the Surwich Peddler’s Wagon.

dang wish i knew that, wouldve never changed my outdoor decor

I got the Cenarion Arch a couple of days ago and was so excited to build a Moonwell, only to discover that the brazier can’t be put outside. The starry scrying bowl can still be placed outside (for now) so I used that instead.

I had a couple of hanging braziers and lamp posts that were usable outside that no longer work now. I don’t think it’s a bug, but rather with technical issues and load on the server.

Well just remember, we complained that a bunch of lights weren’t working outside and they said they were working on making more available.

Instead they turned around and disabled MORE from working outside.

Not to mention the NPCs have no problem putting bottle lights and goblin lights all over the place.

You can put one of those “outside” rooms in the house and put it there. I’ve seen some moonwells in those. But I agree, it’s the kind of thing that needs to be outside.

I’m not touching any of my outdoors stuff ATM. They already redid the property lines and some stuff is outside them, now. Just leaving it be. I’m even afraid to change my house from small to medium.

Yes, plan B was to use a circle room. In the only logical place I have to put one in my current layout, it won’t allow me to put a circle room in that spot. So I will have to reconfigure my layout (again) to make room. But that can be fun

I just did this last night and didn’t have any issues, other than forgetting that all my landscaping will have to be redone to accommodate the shape of the new house. My Night Elf home went from being a rough rectangle shape to an “T” shape. It was fun though. I just had to stay up about 2 hours past bedtime!

It’s certainly worth it if you can make it work!

Oh my, that looks really nice! Beautifully done!

A couple of difficult bits to keep in mind is trying to hide the horizon so it looks natural and having to place the boulders in such a way to hide the dish so you have just the water, but totally doable and I can’t take any credit on it being an original design.
