This was a major bug though. How does a major bug just “slip through”?
Like all MMORPG companies they make backups of the game and saved data like peoples characters before they release anything live. It wouldn’t have been a flip of the switch but they could have rolled things back to before the whoopsie and then took the patch and figured out what went wrong.
And now the RolePlayers get their little slice of WoW. You people have had Dungeons and Raids for 20 years, and Mythics for 14 years. It’s our turn. I don’t care if we only get ONE raid tier because of it and the raid is on an ice cream shop in Stormwind with one boss. I would toss every stitch of M+ into the lava of Blackrock Mountain if it meant getting a new bar stool to decorate with.
Thanks! You have the right attitude. I have no idea how many people this will bring back to the game, but Midnight is on track to exceed DF and TWW, and maybe even hit MoP numbers if we are lucky.
You know – I never really thought about it like that so ok … I can see why some folks want player housing. I am not into transmogs but I know some folks are and that is ok – so why not player housing (as long as it is not required nor gives additional powers (of any kind) to players).
Just my suspicion but they don’t want to invest a lot of time, energy, resources, etc and have it vaporized and never returned. I mean that could be anything in game really…
