I hosted a raid for the quest and advertised it in the pre-made groups.
It was fantastic!!
At one point nearly 25 players in my house, exploring, asking questions, commenting. Not sure how many in total but it went on for about 2 hours with no real lull in people coming in

I have really liked going to see what others have done with their houses. I even had one person visit me after I went to their house! I don’t know why that made me super nervous.
I wanted to host for some hours but on a Tuesday when everything is fresh, theres tons to do and I just couldnt see myself sitting @ home while leaving everything on hold.
Yeah, you have to be ready to commit if you want.
I was not sure how it was going to go and certainly did not expect how many joined over time.
I think my favorite comment was “this is going to show up on tik tok”. Made me laugh.
The praise was kind, the participation was the real win.
If you have time and the desire to show what you built, start it up. Even if only 30 minutes.

Great experience has 20 peeps in there at one time at one point.

I had a steady stream of players come through when I hosted (at like 5am eastern no less) and it was great! Some came in, got their quest, and headed out, but even more looked around and explored, tried the jump puzzle, etc.
There was a ton of lovely comments and questions, just a really positive rando group experience overall. I will absolutely host again.
I had a demon hunter stick around for about 30 minutes. My house is not a jump puzzle. But I do have a large cavern with a mining and forging operation. They made it into a jump puzzle and announced when they reached the top. They seemed to enjoy it. I thought it was funny.
I’ve also listed my house for a few minutes while I’m hanging out with my daughter - I’m inviting just afk!

please keep in mind that the homeowner has to be present for the quest to complete for you, so if you actually need to do the quest go to the one that the host is at!

I hosted a housewarming for a little while earlier, it was a good way to advertise my charter neighborhood!
The turn out was a lot of fun. I did forget to put away that void portal that takes you just-anywhere- so I lost a couple people briefly

Just visited my first Housewarming! It was so nice visiting Melygosa’s awesome house. Love the Housewarming and will be hosting tomorrow at my Horde house, so fun!!
I’ll be hosting at my airship with this next hour. I’ve been loving having an excuse to show off my home and would love to see what other people have come up with.

Amazing turn out, saw no less than 100 players. had nearly 30 in the house at one time.
Even had a local forum personality unknowingly happen by.
I chickened out after a few minutes of nobody joining my group. My todo list was overflowing, so I’m not sure I was really in a mood to host a proper open house. But I may try again at some point when I feel I have more down time.
But my house is also not a piece of art I’m looking to show off to others and get feedback on, it’s just my home. So maybe I’ll just leave the hosting to people who are more enthusiastic to show off.
I love this. I was hoping for something like this when housing came in.
Just finished hosting my houses for about an hour, so many visitors and it was super fun showing my house. Love this feature.
One little glitch, I intended to host my horde house but my alliance house shows at the top and most people auto joined there. Just switched back and forth every 10 min.
