Is there a way to delete a house and start over?
You should be able to relinquish your existing house in the Housing tool. I don’t know if that allows you to completely start over. Though, you can also move your house to a new plot for 1000 gold.
Everything can be undone as well. Might take time even with the cleanup tool.

Hi Tiannah, thanks for the suggestion. I was able to relinquish the house but when I go to purchase it restores the same stupid house with the same issue.
I saw a video where someone used a “cleanup” function to strip all the stuff out of a room, then deleted the room, and cleared it all that way by cleaning and deleting the rooms back to just the entrance.
Giving up your plot or moving your house, and plopping it down somewhere is, is supposed to let you move without starting over, so I don’t think that will work (based on what I’ve read).

This is the way it has to be done right now. Use cleanup mode and remove the items, delete the rooms, then go outside and set the outside to the defaults manually.

Good to know. I’ve just deleted rooms when I don’t like how they turn out. Everything goes back into storage and I can restore the room or change it out. The only thing I can’t delete is the Entryway.

What exactly are you trying to do, if deleting all rooms and returning all items to storage isn’t the answer?
Click house settings > click relinquish house, comfirm.
That doesn’t remove everything from the house or yard. It just packs it all up to be unpacked the same way.

Deletes it from the plot, plot becomes empty, you can always buy another plot and change the template.
What you need is a template reset.
Dude wants everything picked up and removed.
You seem to be oblivious to the fact that your house and yard are unpacked on a new plot just as they were before.

it will take less than 15 seconds. just remove all the rooms.
You can still do that manually, until they make it easier just remove manually.
