Hourly limit on Class Trials

Perhaps the sales department should learn how to sell more than just shop mounts.

I thought it was good for a whole level? Its been awhile.

It’s a trial. It’s there to let you test a class and see if it’s one you want to play. It gives it to you at what? 110 now?

So you have almost all your abilities and talents. You can check out how it looks at transmog, and you can run around a bit and see if you like how it fights.

You shouldn’t need a whole lot of time to make that decision.

If there isn’t a limit on it, people would just spam trial characters and probably use it to abuse a whole bunch of stuff. Like infinite old content raid gold runs per week or so.

No, the limit I’m speaking of is not on the play time, it’s on the number of characters you can look at in an hour. If you want to see how each race looks as a mage for example, you’re not going to be able to do it in one shot. Not sure how someone can “abuse” that

May I ask how many you’re trying to make in an hour?

from what I can tell, the limit is 4

I’ve run in a limit before using trials to check out transmogs. I don’t remember how many create/deletes it took though.

Oh Sweet! I just tried one more test and it worked. Then the next one hit the WEEKLY limit. Good sales strategy Blizz.

I could be wrong but I really doubt anyone at Blizzard would think someone had the need to try out that many classes in one hour.

If that’s why you’re doing it, then why not just create a level one? You can still look at transmog using the Appearance Collection tab. You can still see how their casting animations are.

When someone is looking to spend and $60 on pixels in a game in which they already spend a monthly subscription, what is the upside to Blizzard limiting the number of options the buyer can look at? It’s rhetorical. You don’t have to answer because the answer is obvious.

If there’s a limit, it’s usually because someone found a way to exploit it.

I’m sure they have a reason. I doubt they did it just to piss you off. I cant imagine any reason why you need to make that many in an hour and I’m sure they couldn’t either.

Hrm…suspect troll but I’ll bite anyways

Check out Extended Dressing Room and Dressing Room Functions. Lets you preview any mog you have on any race. No class trials required.

The use of class trials to check out mog is not abuseable in any way I can think of if they were limited to such. They are not and infinitely creatable high level characters would be abusable in uncountable ways.

Not a troll. This has absolutely zero to do with transmog. It is about casting animations. You want to be able to see that the character you’re going to use has animations that are appealing to you, particularly if the plan is to boost them.

So, you want to see their casting animations/tmog/whatever … I’m sure some savvy person out there has made a YouTube video for each and every one.

Google is your friend.

Problem solved. You’re welcome.

I can’t control what google shows me while I move. Problem not solved. Sale lost.

It is too bad no one else in the game actually plays these classes so that you can observe them.

I am sure blizzard will be able to survive without you using the free boost you just got given.

wowhead shows all the animations in their dressing room tool. Drop down menu at the bottom.

You CAN watch what happens when the person in the video does everything you’re seeking to watch.

You’re just complaining to complain at this point. People have provided you with numerous solutions and you try to counter each one with some form of nonsense because it doesn’t fall in line with what you want to hear.

Tough break. :man_shrugging:t2:
