Hour long Queues

Anybody got any suggestions for how they might fix the queue?

I’ve missed so many of them just waiting around, losing attention, and really need to get my rep up.

Reroll alliance.

but no, something useful.

Quit or reroll is the only option. You are a part of the reason the queues are so long.

Reroll lol

Reroll is useful, it’s how you can get fast queues. There’s nothing you or Blizzard can do to fix the player-caused faction imbalance that’s causing this problem.

He is a victim of the queues being long because not enough Alliance want to PvP anymore. When BGs 1st rolled out back in December the average queue time for a Horde was 2 minutes, 3 minutes by day 3. After that queue times just kept going up because as more PvE orientated players got their reputation and gear associated with it left the queue,

When the Alliance started getting more and more bots, AFKs (Horde still have those and we deal with it) Alliance started to make premade teams that affected both Alliance and Horde (Alliance more so) that even more Alliance left increasing times even more. Now that the Alliance cannot form premade teams other then for WsG, the queues have shot up again. It isn’t his fault, for the longer queues, its just the nature of the beast. People leaving that wanted no part of PvP to begin with other then min/max and people that got disgusted by their own faction leaving them to the wolves.

Fixed it for you

Bud dont even try I rolled both sides and went alliance because what was coming was 100% obvious to any player with their eyes open. This is the horde bandwagoners fault for overwhelming every one and making pvp completely boring / a zergfest. Victim, yeah right.

Blizzard makes Horde have longer queues so they can spend more time with their loved ones.

Victim is a strong term considering this is a player-caused issue. This guy can easily roll alliance and be a part of the solution, but he wants to continue to be a part of the problem. Whether that’s because of time invested, whatever it may be.

Agreed.

And the solutions are to quit or reroll. It’s just the nature of the beast.

use the time to farm gold and wpvp

That’s about it, yep

Actually it was Horde Turtles that caused premades to be formed , you forgot to mention that

so ya either reroll alliance or go to retail or quit , those are your options at this point

Since alliance always loses av we stopped queuing for it. I still do av once in a while, but only to get my quiver from revered. After a few more games i will no longer que. I have not been in a winning Av since the first week of av coming out. I didn’t farm mass gold to afford the 100% mount and thus was not able to premade. Not whining just saying why alliance stopped queuing, being farmed at gy’s is not really good pvp. This problem will only get worse over time. Both sides get screwed with the changes.

“but my aesthetics!”

Who knew that undead mages were so pretty that it trumps the ability to play the actual game when you wanted to play it?

Or it might be the racial toolkit…lol.

I didn’t join the Horde band wagon the 1st time or this time. I chose a server that was East Coat, and PvE because of my experience the last time I played the game on a Alliance dominated PvP server (which I didn’t know that back then). I chose Shaman (a class I been playing for 35 years - yes pen and paper included) because the Alliance do not have shaman at this time. Why would I roll Alliance if they don’t have my class?

I suck at PvP don’t think my racial ability’s help me to much even though I been pointed out they are suppose to be. If our queue times where 2-3 minutes at the start of BGs and now they have increased it isn’t because more Horde are queuing, but now less Alliance are. Why is that, numerous reasons, wPvP (that’s mostly a PvP issue), PvE players got what they wanted, probably a good chunk, and the people that got thrown to the wolves by premade teams.

I don’t mind having a civil discussion but don’t change what I said to make it sound like I said something else. Be responsible, let’s discuss the issue and try to fix it and answer peoples questions as best as we can. I left this game 8 years ago for toxic conversations and gameplay. Already see it happening again.

Premade option for both sides would fix hour long queues. The queues are longer now because there are no Alliance teams ending games faster for Horde to be able to queue into quicker. We knew this would happen. Premade option… for BOTH sides, and it solves EVERY issue surrounding premading and queue times with AV.

Yes, at the FP

I am helping answer peoples questions, the horde have every advantage and people rolled horde for the advantages (my main has been a shaman for a long time, dont think for a moment I didnt roll sham as soon as classic came out) and are now crying that they have to deal with being the overpopulated faction.

This is 100% a bandwagon problem, and the bandwagoners expect every one else to roll the underdog. The fix is to reroll alliance, sorry you joined the overwhelming faction bud.
