I understand what they TRIED to do, but it failed miserably. All they did was allow Alchemists make a lot more money. Time to fix the bad idea and bring hour long back.

So they double the mats required and the costs subsequently double. What is your grand plan here?

Same applies to healing potion with a 3minute wait<this would be good if you have heals with you but not outside soloing.
two-hour flasks like in TBC is how it should be… with alchemists getting an extra hour.
you pop a flask at 8pm and a flask at 10:30pm after trash reclear.
p.s. why is 30 a problem exactly?
Step 1: Switch to Alchemy.
Step 2: Specialize in Phials.
Step 3: Profit.

Get a sustaining alchemist stone and, if you only leave combat to log off, use the same phial until the end of the expansion.
It’s the timer,pop one for 30 minutes ,you can only pop the same one twice for 1 hr. If you run out in 30 minutes and have one of a different level you can’t take it til that one you have expires,you’ll be wasting time either way.
add another entry in the list of problems i didnt know existed despite raiding the entire expansion…
I think it was a design intent as each boss would require a different phial so they limited to 30 minutes to switch but only in raids ,it doesn’t exactly work out everywhere else in the game.

Does it really matter when the phial recipes give you 2 each anyway?

I swapped to Alch last week.
Don’t even have many points put in.
My 30m phials now last 90m each.
Gains.
Potions cost more than flasks… alchemist is not a widely profitable profession, get serious.
