I’d like to think that a hour cooldown layer change would help a lot with people being griefed. To those who say it will just help the botters, they will always find a way to layer hop. Being hamstrung into leaving chaos bolt to crusader strike has left many people unhappy. Being griefed by a raids worth of either faction isn’t pvp its just not fun. If we we’re able to change layers it would help.
And then there are the thousands of people playing on PvE servers who just don’t care.
I get it, but most players who left chaos bolt did so with a majority vote from there guild. Not wanting to stop playing with friends and family most went to crusader.
Imagine not being able to play with your friends because some arbitrary system told you that you cannot for absolutely no reason.
What if two people wanted to play together but they were on separate layers and on cooldown?
Having it be an hour would make it managable. Just spit balling ideas here.
Just transfer off your PVP server. I did. All I play are PVP servers on era. SOD is not conducive to PVP servers. They are dysfunctional depending on what 10:1 layer you get in the current sardine can of content.
If you don’t transfer off, you don’t have too many excuses.
I’d love to but having my guild split down the middle of pvp vs pve is rough. I don’t think my guild would survive another transfer. I’m sure for a lot of us the people we play with is the reason we play.
An hour doesn’t matter when you’re only trying to change layer once, which is the situation you see with players abusing faction stacking.
Didn’t they just open up server transfers?
Ouch, that’s unfortunate. Well, SoD will continue to be unplayable on PvP severs. The fact they opened up transfers like this tells me phase 4 is going to be the same kind of sardine can content.
