Itâs dumb to be irrirated we have to set up all our toons again, and spells on bars? Iâd say I think youâre dumb for being ok with their craptastic release that allowed it.
Iâm not okay with the state Cata released in, but having to redo my talents and abilities, a process that takes maybe a minute tops, after an emergency restart that attempts to fix some of the bigger issues, is not one of the reasons to be upset
Especially considering they literally told us this would be the case when the realm restarts were announced yesterday, and you had hours to print screen > paste your bars and talents into a jpg to look back at later
Iâm not being an apologist. Theyâre trying to fix issues with a hotfix, which is why there was an immediate maintenance the morning after the prepatch launched. Every spec is having issues with resetting spells and bugged spellbooks, and they may need to do a hard talent reset across the board to make sure the issue doesnât persist.
Did you spend hours slaving over a talent build or something?

Yep, multiple characters, multiple specs, spells, all arranged the way I liked them, all ruined. Itâs not even about the time it took to fix it, itâs that they shipped the game so fundamentally broken they had to reset everything the next day.
Oh and donât forget, spell books are still broken, GUILD CHAT only works if you gquit and come back for most peopleâŚfundamental things that shouldâve never went live.
Earlier I literally started doing my talents right before reset. Maintenance and they were all reset. Pretty dumb GG.

newsflash were gonna have to do it again too. the restarts and hotfixes didnt fix anything other than some chat issues. spells are still gone and things like that. so is there another reset today or what?
annoying to be sure but just take a screenshot and save your talents in paint to put em back in
This is why after I do my talents I always screen shot it so I can quickly go back and set them again. Been playing since Retail BC so I know EVERY time they bring out some new expansion they do this reset a few times.
