Besides the MMR thing, and not being able to get tier early in the season and other people having their tier…the game isn’t that bad.

I don’t think the game is bad but they need to remove mmr caps and dump truckloads of inflation into game to entice the PVE community and casuals to que up for low hanging fruit.
Game would feel much better if you had 20,000+ players more on ladder in shuffle/3s.
Also uncap conquest and make sockets farmable so its a quick path to gearing and joining in

yep. i’ve personally already played so many rounds and i’m only taking a break because diablo is so good. and i’m a little burnt out.

Cannot second this enough. A properly populated ladder is such a better gaming experience. It’s hard to describe to someone who has never experienced it just how impactful it is to have such immense granularity to the skill-ranges of your allies and enemies.
It befuddles and saddens me how warped the WoW PvP playerbase’s take on prestige is, and how they’d rather the game die off than sacrifice their vision of it. Online competition is plagued with elitism in general, but what’s going on in WoW is just self-destructive.

Trust me, it doesn’t matter how much you enjoy a class when it’s trashcan tier. Enjoying how the spec plays can only carry you so far.
no its pretty bad, as long as demo is s tier. every comp is some form of shadow priest, demo, or both.
added bonus of dead participation due to unfun season and D4

Yeah I imagine the game is pretty decent right now, maybe great if you are a lock (any spec), a mw, a disc, shadow priest, boomkin, enhance shaman, probably either warrior spec, fire mage, or sub rogue.
Honestly not a bad spread of strong specs, just too bad if you aren’t in that group and aren’t willing to reroll every other patch.
i’d rather play a B tier spec i like than play an S tier spec i find boring.

Welcome to the history of WoW arena. There have always been S tier specs that dominate and C-D tier specs that suck. There have been much worse outliers in comparison to this season as well. At least now you can reroll with relative ease if you picked Holy Pally as your main for example.
I feel like at this point last season we were in a similar point
Dh and sp had just received their third round of nerfs and assa rogue was everywhere
They’re doing a decent job of dps balance with a couple mistakes here and there that are more obvious than their cautious nerf approach
the game is never as bad as the forums claim. This is just a place people come to vent.

Yeah, I wouldn’t mind the current tuning so much if I was queueing into similar XP players more often. Season would feel okay.
