nerf blitz mmr by at least 50% to make it commensurate with the arena brackets [e.g., if we’re going to insist on having the rewards in each bracket be the same].
It feels horrible seeing mmr of lobby be 2200+ while watching the vast majority of players completely ignore objectives, not understand the objectives [e.g., capping flag in eots despite having one or even both bases and the flag + full team support], and/or have a peak 1600-1800 career high arena rating.

At the end of the day it’s not important to me if blizzard decides elite sets/titles are at 1200, 1800, 2400, or wherever.
What I think IS important is consistency across game modes because whenever there IS a disparity, the vast majority of players flock towards the mode where rating is the easiest to obtain, get their rewards ASAP, and quit.
This is detrimental to pvp and game health as a whole

shuffle s1 was definitely insane, but I think blizzard balancing was the issue for the rets, not really shuffle mmr itself.
In either case shuffle mmr seems pretty good now imo (e.g., not impossible to get elite but not super easy either, at least not for most specs), but when I see 2200, 2400, 2700, etc., for the mmr of lobby, I’d like to know that the players in the lobby have a commensurate baseline of skill/experience, which is just not the case atm in blitz.
In shuffle, once you get out of the 1800-2k range where people might be trying fresh toons/learning new specs, I feel a general consistency in terms of the average skill level of all players in the lobby. For blitz I feel that the skill level per team can range from 1200-3k+ which is just wrong imo, not to mention it results in poor match quality where one team usually just gets steamrolled by the other or vice versa [e.g., oh the team filled with nothing but multi-duelists/glads steamrolled the team that was 50% career high challengers/rivals, who would have thought, what a great game].
yeah, I really wish they would just implement the effort they do for the trading post into the pvp brackets [e.g., pooping out numerous unique cosmetics every month, but just every season for each pvp bracket]. It really wouldn’t be that hard or resource intensive to have each bracket give different rewards at the rating thresholds, and I think it would go a long way in terms of promoting the health and participation in each bracket.
My favorites are the CTF games where all your teammates guard the flag carrier and still manage to let him get insta-gibbed. Feels great.

Ya idk if people really understand the kiting/peeling of FCs who are taking like 500% increased damage and no healing. You can’t just sit there and hope it works out.
Or 6 people afk on defense while one destro lock tries to hit the efc
omg this feels like 9/10 of my matches in twin peaks. Game will be 1-1 or something like that where we didn’t even cap last, and maybe only 1-2 players even try to go on offense lol (and usually not even together when more than 1).
I’ve never seen having full defense while being behind win games, but it seems to be a popular strategy in my experience.
Anyways, thanks for indulging my vent/rant all. I’m just exhausted from what I see in blitz lol.
The funnier part is that I’m 2100 in blitz and still climbing despite having a sub 50% win rate. Omega lul hehe 
Everybody wants to double heal defense in most games instead of having healer accompany offense and dying without healing to dots feels bad so everybody just sits in base until they lose ya it’s awful
Like if your comp can safely peel/kite their comp and they aren’t able to run past and 2-shot your guy it can be fine but the people who afk defense regardless aren’t making a decision they just default to what’s comfortable

Yeah your team could be absolute flag guarding gods but you’ll still draw or lose if you can’t manage a single flag cap.

nah legit take but they have to do something about arena being trash first: ladders are dead, and the only thing that can play shuffle is priest unless you want to wait 30+min queues
fix those + cripple blitz mmr and the game is nice again imo

The alternative is it takes hundreds of Blitz games to climb to elite with prayers to the RNG gods that you get the right comp in an 8v8 game mode so no thank you.
Blitz was a great addition and people need to just accept it for it is - random bgs that give you actual rewards for participation. You can dad queue a game or two after work and not stress over a few WSG matches and get actual rewards for your time. That’s a huge win for the game.
The only change that should be made is they should add the gladiator mount to solo shuffle.

Blitz mmr is a bit weird and there isn’t much consistency. Earlier this season I went on a doom spiral from 2800 to 2300 and let me tell you that it gets much worse. At 2300 the quality of the games are so bad it’s insane.
I like a good medium between 2600 and 2900 where queues are quick and the quality is decent. Because at higher mmr where the quality queues are best; you start getting death threats for making mistakes.

happy for blitz players and that they get a place to enjoy pvp outside of arena, but im not understanding why blitz gives the same awards as arena, this would be like giving lfr raiders mythic gear, or at least cosmetically.
because blizz is lazy, when it comes to pvp.
IMO 2400+ in SS is just as respectable as 2400+ in 3s (if not more so), and the reality is that it’s hard to find a 3s group these days.

why? i get 2.4 in shuffle almost immediately 100 rounds ish, i got it in 3 days of ssn for tww s2 and now im strugglingaround 2.2k-2.4k in 3s, its all AWC players right now. Completely diff quality and skill required.
Shuffle is actually a decent place to meet healers, lmao.

Blitz inflation is definitely too high and 3v3 deflation is too low. Standardizing ratings across all brackets better and giving each mode their own rewards would help greatly. And probably stop some of the bickering with each other to boot.
3s glad drake, blitz a ground mount (you ride around a lot), shuffle keeps it stinky flag that nobody likes (immersive and relatable for shufflers) now we just need something for 2s after they ban bm hunters and rogues
