Hot take. Let’s make Baine evil

Visions was such a wasted scenario. We needed the children!

They are not going to just up and make Blaine evil just because you don’t like that he’s a genuine nice guy and probably the single most honorable horde leader.
Yes, he warned the alliance about Garrosh’s plans… it would have been dishonorable to let him go through with his plans unchallenged, and it would have taken too long to discuss things with the other leaders first (who most of which, by the way, actually agreed with his actions)…
Yes, he’s close friends with the leader of the alliance… so was Thrall… over the years many high ranking members of both the Horde and the Alliance have formed friendships across faction lines…
Yes, he opposed Sylvannas… most of the Horde did! He wasn’t the only one to do this. She was a clear threat to everyone and needed to be dealt with.
Yes, he’s shared information with the alliance… incase you forgot, he was declared official ambassador to the alliance under Vol’jin’s leadership… and Sylvannas never did revoke that position from him… he’s just been doing his job.

Original idea for a horde leader except for Garrosh and Sylvanas.

You know this actually happens in real war. It doesn’t make someone a traitor to treat their enemy with a modicum of dignity. Selling out your own people on the other hand is a whole other kettle of fish.

If it’s all the same, we can make Greymane insane too.

Isn’t that why certain weapons being used in war count as a war crime?

Overkill and stuff like false surrendering are no nos if I recall

Plain Jane Baine would never do anything interesting.

That being said, I like your suggestion.

Baine isn’t weak like Garrosh, no need to make deals with demons nor old gods to gain power.

Taurens remain strong and honourable.

As far as I’m aware, yes.

In accordance with the Geneva convention it is generally expected that POWs for example are to be treated humanely. For example in WW2 Axis soldiers captured by the Allies were generally treated quite well all things considered. The same could not be said about Allied soldiers captured by the Axis… but that’s besides the point.

And even beyond that there are many incidental reports of soldiers on the opposite side of one another lending aid to their enemy if they were wounded or otherwise in a bad way.

German soldiers aiding American GIs who were wounded and vice versa.
There’s also that very famous story of the heavily damaged American bomber en route back to base and a German pilot refusing to shoot it down, instead choosing to escort it back to base and deterring the German AA guns from firing on them.

Biden as evil Baine. He could do the voice acting.

That’s udderly ridiculous. They need to get him off his dairy air.

It was just fun to watch people play House of Ashes and not be aware that some of the choices given to you are straight up war crimes. If you know that stuff ahead of time it comes in handy for some moments.

I got that game on the brain lately so I keep making references lol

Never played those but I respect their success if that makes sense

All gravy, been in my steam list forever. Need to bang it out.

Only time I played them I suppose was a crossover quest thing Monster Hunter World had. Was pretty neat.

I’m not aware of that game. Is it on Steam?
