Hot Take: Hardcore Server Rollback

Rolling back the hardcore deaths and ignoring the very obvious economy problem and black lotus mafia on Nightslayer just goes to show that blizzard either doesn’t care about the nightslayer problem or they only care about viewership of their game.

If blizzard doesn’t address the economy on Nightslayer, the server will be unplayable for 80% of players by the time AQ40 comes out as far as raiding goes.

the nightslayer problem isn’t actually a problem :expressionless:
at least the hardcore DDOS thing is an actual grievance. not that I agree with the decision.

This man definitely gets all the ladies and has incredible foresight into what is happening on Nightslayer. Blizz needs to listen to this (gigachad of a) man.

“Thousands of hours were just maliciously destroyed by a ddoser infront of 100k people, but that’s not the real story, i just willingly bought a flask for lucifron for 160g more than I wanted, what about me? what about my needs blizzard?”

won’t someone think of the classic fury warriors?

Everyone who plays hardore signs and agreement that says there will be no reason your character will be brought back to life under no circumstances. But because some streamers got DDoS’d, its a different story. What about all the times the blizzard servers just crapped out and caused thousands of deaths? nothing happened then. But because some precious streamers got targeted, blizzard changes their stance.

No, why would you?

You don’t ever agree with common sense.

i’m confused, do you want blizzard to make good changes or not? you are acting like a precious little baby that needs daddy blizzard to shield him from his own mentality of buying 406g flasks so he can intercept lucifron with 1 second on the pull timer but you have a negative opinion of them ressing people who died to a ddos

are you just mad that they got something they wanted and you didn’t?

I don’t buy flasks. They aren’t needed for this content and I’m well aware of that. But the economy on nightslayer is inflating far beyond just flasks.

Mongoose are 15-16g each
Mana potions are 6g each
Elemental sharpening stones are approaching 20g each.

How is anyone supposed to afford these consumables without acquiring gold through illicit means? See, I main a mage so I can farm gold easily and I’ll always have consumes for raid. But for my other raiders, they aren’t as fortunate.

:expressionless: i think you answered your own question really, if you don’t buy flasks you should be able to afford to raid on 2-3 hrs of gameplay per week

Are you saying the prices aren’t ridiculous?

lol :expressionless:

no ? i don’t believe i said that, but if a raid costs 150g (you don’t flask), that means you need to farm like…10 firewaters per week to keep up with costs, that doesn’t seem very hard

Why are you farming the Classic forums for your “raiders”? Shouldn’t they be the ones crying about inflation and not you?

Flasks were never meant to cost this much. 500g for a flask is absolutely ridiculous. Even at 200g they’re ridiculous. People should have the ability to play how they want and yes they still do to an extent, but having to fork over nearly an epic mounts worth of gold every week as a main tank is not ideal to anyone and for the longevity of the game.

With 50 people farming every area they drop at all times?

Firewaters being 15g each is also a problem. You just aren’t getting it lol
