This was done before I joined.
When you do /who everybody is in the same guilds.
Any new players get vetted.
If they don’t pass they get camped before they get high enough to get into the dungeons.

I’d rather play on a server where I can verify that there’s zero bots than play on a mega server full of cheaters. There’s max level dungeon runs when you want them and there’s raids a few nights a week if you want those.
We get to see the World Bosses when we feel like it.

I think its clear by now how big of a mistake the gdkp ban really was.
The fact this guys saying he has to keep his server clean of bots further backs that as well as people who know rmt is still happening.
All they’ve achieved is removing something players enjoyed for no actual gain.
you cant stop rmt(unless you take drastic measures) but you can keep it where its not gaining to the point its like mop
MoP is the only version of classic where you can make enough gold from end game activities to never need to swipe. This is without doing a single gdkp btw.
Was like this in cata too.
Full clearing heroic raid was like 1400g.
Which was enough to raid for weeks and we cleared it weekly.
You could raid log without ever needing to farm any gold.
yet they constantly still buy gold
be it from websites or from blizzard
or they constantly sell gold within guild been in a few that did it reported them and left
I dont care if you are legit it still happens.
It happens much less than the other versions. Blizzard couldn’t fix it 20 years ago they can’t fix it now.
they buy enough to make it an issue otherwise blizzard would not have added the token in the first place. I hate this mindset of it does not happen as much so its all good wwe should just open up gdkps on every server and say f it lets not ban em 2 weeks either
It sucks you hate it because the vast majority of the playerbase does not care about gold buying.
lol how wrong you are if that was true it would not be banned at all in fresh servers. blizzard didnt go man these 5 people on reddit complain alot lets just randomly ban gdkps on fresh servers.
they also wont add em back just because the 5 of you spam the forums on 40+ alts
They didn’t ban rmt. They only banned gdkp. Blizzard clearly doesn’t have a problem with rmt since they give 2 weeks instead of perma’s.
Everyone knows people in their guild that buy gold and they still play with them, you are in a very small lonely circle by caring enough to leave one.
they do care about rmt its why gdkps were banned in fresh gdkps may not cause rmt but it does aid it
If they care about RMT why don’t they perma ban gold buyers or invest in gm’s to ban bots?
Why do they ban bots quicker on retail and mop compared to anniversary?

They aren’t doing anything. They are enforcing the rules on servers where they have token and not enforcing them on servers without token.

But the whole premise of people wanting gdkps back is the fact they cant farm gold and are resorting to buying it.
So if no one’s farming it now
