Getting kind of bored of this, Dark ranger isn’t cool, it hasn’t been since warcraft 3. Demon hunter worked because we didn’t kill dozens of them during our WoW career, we did with dark rangers though. So called elite elf rangers, now anyone can be them? Tauren dark ranger? Orc Dark Ranger? Yet as hard as they push the dark ranger theme, they know it’s actually not that different to hunter. I mean, make a dark ranger class and lock it to elves or whatever, but do something besides trying to turn HUNTER into the DARK RANGER class.
On top of that we have not one BUT TWO ELVEN SPECS as hunter.
Nice! So archers/hunters in other culture just don’t exist? We got pack leader a barely functioning hero spec that only fits the other two terrible hunter specs.
Demon Hunters only exist cause Blizzard had to tear away from Warlocks who had most same abilities. Just same as Hunters have shared some of the same abilities with Dark Rangers. The two are interwoven to the point that Dark Rangers couldn’t stand as their own class.

Did you forget all the DHs from black temple and here and there in TBC? And all the corrupted DHs from legion? XD

Sentinel and Dark Ranger don’t fit a lot of race combos with Hunter.
But you are dead wrong about Dark Rangers not being cool. They are very cool.
If dark rangers are anything, they are undead(sylvanas) themed, not elven. But considering sylvanas was an elf before…All undead were something before tho.
So about the theme of all 3 choices, I’d say dark ranger is undead themed, sentinel is night elf themed and pack leader is… maybe rexxar(half orc/ogre?) themed? Anyways.
I like dark rangers, I’d be totally fine with it if they were a hero class instead of hero spec though.
You can find and fit the lore in your head however you want to be honest. Like pandaren taught being monks to alliance/horde races, maybe some dark rangers taught how to be dark rangers to others. Same with sentinel/nelves. You can fit how a horde dark ranger taught being one to an alliance player or vice versa into the class hall in legion.
I get its kind of a stretch, but it works.
I felt somewhat the same way here. Hunter got two very hard lined and strong themes. Sentinel didnt even make sense to me since Night Elf Sentinels are just the military of the Night Elves and have a lot of warriors among them.
Yeah but all Dark Rangers were Undead Elves, so, undead sure, but also Elven.
As far as Pack leader being Rexxar, what a joke that turned out to be. Mechanically bad, visually bad, it got nothing. Honestly it was in a worse place then Dark Ranger and yet Dark Ranger got the rework. Wild…
The class was created by first removing Demonology abilities and then giving them an overhaul of their play-style. Inorder to give Demon Hunters more abilities.
Demon Hunters were built from another spec.
Talking about how the origins of the class that needed abilities of another spec to be created.
How can you make 3 unique specs from a class that uses ranged abilities, shadow magic, and dps? The Hero talents cover the fantasy.

Then give three specs each with a unique identity and abilities. If it’s that simple then you must have already thought of some.

Lets not forget that Nathanos, an undead human, was also a Dark Ranger who used pets - specifically the hounds you proc and summon in the hero talents.
The same can be said about Sentinel which by all intents and purposes is mixing Huntress with Priestess of the Moon units from WC3.
If Dark Ranger is Sylvanas then Sentinel is Tyrande and both should have been it’s own thing.
Give me my Priestess of the Moon Hero class already 
A mobile range DoTs spec, a pet summoning spec, and a melee spec would be the options as then have been seen.

He said during your last trip you flipped on him when he said Elite Tauren Chieftan was for Gen Illidans and you threatened to pull the cart over and wipe that paint off is mouth. His black tusks and nails are enchants and not coming off. I’m afraid it’s not a phase. I’m sorry but… he’s gone full dark ranger. No need to take it out on the world (of warcraft). These things happen. Perhaps he’ll grow out of it, perhaps not.
