Just out doing my warrior armor quest at Stonetalon Mountains and saw 4 level 33 mages with identical names all just grinding on the level 23-28 mobs out here. It’s bad enough the alliance corpse run is so huge to get back, but the fact that there isn’t more to stop these bots is sickening.
Anyone else got good bot spots for people that they’ve seen in secluded areas?

Was all the same rotation and smashing Mana Shield as she got lower til she had nothing left.
Sounds like you ran into a multiboxer.
Multiboxing is a valid and positive play style of WoW Classic, just as it was when WoW first launched all the time ago.
Be humble and have tolerance for people who have fun and enjoyment in ways different than your own.
It could have been a line of bots. You can tell the difference between them. Bots will all independently follow the same pathing. Multiboxxers will have a clump of them following a single lead toon.
Exactly. Multiboxing and botting are two different things. A multiboxer has a lead guy which uses ingame macros to control the alts (ie, to follow the main, controlled by a human) whereas botting is automated and doesn’t use follow mode to move, instead, uses datastream hacked XYZ coordinate move points.
When you have multiple characters that don’t respond to being attacked and have similar garbled names…

Shared names of a multiboxer isn’t enough to condemn them as a bot but it is possible to be the case.
Watch their behaviour and report if necessary. Be sure to make the report as detailed as possible.
Generally a bot can’t adapt to unknown danger. Try and deplete their mana and see how they act.
lol must be a new multiboxer… you just wait until he gets it fully figured out. He will delete you anywhere you are, anytime he wants. I hope he wrote your name down…
