Are these things sopposed to be soloable? I have wasted 2 vessels already going straight for Thrall and lose half my sanity killing the trash outside Gromash Hold.
If this wasn’t soloable they should have stated as much, I’m a tank but normally I kill stuff pretty fast… the sanity just trans way to damn fast.
If you can’t kill the two gaurds and thrall before your sanity runs out then you need more gear.
Well my gear is currently at 429… don’t know how much more gear I’m supposed to have at this point.
429 is barely above benthic… of course you’re not going to be able to solo if you’re barely above welfare. I’m sure they’re expecting us to work our way up to solo comfortably.
EDIT: Removed my ilvl assumption since it’s clear that it can be solo’d in the low 430’s pretty easily.
Get better gear, learn the fights better, respec for more DPS. Don’t expect to one shot it in Benthic gear and a low dps spec
Eventually yes, once your cloak is leveled up enough and you’ve picked up enough memento’s to fill out Mother’s Research, you’ll be able to solo.
Going to take awhile though to get there 
I’m currently at 2 bosses and thrall so i’m happy with that for now.

Should have stated as much before having people waste their runs trying to solo something that cant be soloed with the gear they give you at the start… hell the gear that drops now is only 410.

I doubt they want you to be near EP mythic geared to get anywhere solo in there lol.

Exactly… I am running with the top gear I could get not being a mythic player… I guess this game is no longer for me then.
They should have stated that you won’t be able to solo their end game content with welfare gear? Should they also state that you won’t be able to make potions without a bottle? Or that you need a horse if you want to ride a horse?
By the way, from one casual to another, they did have a video that you’re expected to work your way up through the visions as your cloak and welfare gear improves. You just didn’t bother making the effort to look for that information just like you’re not making the effort to play the game.
Your gear is a bit low, I would actually recommend heading over to Nazjatar and getting some Benthic pieces to get up to around the 400 level on average.
Beyond that, make sure you’re moving away from the Honor Guards when they do their cast attack.
Basically, anything in the Visions that is an avoidable mechanic will cause damage to your Sanity.
I failed the first time at just under 400 item level but succeeded the second time due to the orbs you get later on in the quest. Visions seemed to be tuned for people already decently geared.
Yes, first run might buy invisible pot so you can skip all trash but the guards to save sanity… Thrall is easy. 3 mechanics… Big frontal he casts and points just move behind him. AoE circle dance like the spider boss in First Uldir raid this tier…
Last is a horrific shout run into the gold safe area in the room. Not sure how this one works i had it happen once on one character and never happened on my other character ive done so far.
You aren’t supposed to comfortably do it but it is supposed to be soloable. You just need to be geared and competent with your class… I do though hear that Tanks and Healers might have a really rough time of it.
Try farming for the visions food… at the end of the day, it’s not faceroll worthy, you kinda have to challenge yourself, plan ahead etc… the further you get with your cloak and gear the easier they get then you get more objectives that have you do other areas of the vision.
I did thrall solo, just a couple of item lvls lower than I am now. Was close, but did it. I’m not in a rush with it either.
Soloed as 415 ilvl fire mage .
Killing Thrall/Alleria is the bare minimum you can do on Horrific Visions.
It’s not like OP’s trying to clear the highly corrupted areas.

“Welfare” this and “Welfare” that, if that’s all you have to say, thanks, heard it already. This is the gear I could get doing the things I enjoy. Not going to do things I don’t like for the sake of progressing through the games story. Not interested in raiding, not interested in mythics. This was a quest for the main story of the game that they stated could be soloed if you went straight for the boss.
I went straight for the boss with gear that was higher than what they are dropping in the patch. So yeah, I was not expecting to lose half my sanity after the first group of mobs.
