And no matter how 1337 you are or whatever, no one is doing full clear plus 3 masks. Honestly I doubt you will see any full clears at all outside of MAYBE a full 5 man from Method or something and even that is probably pushing it with the current level of cloak and research done. Next week with a 7 cloak and the sanity restore on elites maybe a full clear is more reasonable, but even that is only 445.
Can confirm that you can still get sockets also.
I believe this is the same interaction as we were seeing on the ptr as well. It’s almost as if the vendor one is just more of a bad luck system than the intended way of getting sockets, especially with the cost of them.

Neither have any of my pieces corrupted. Yeah I guess it sucks now, but with M+ coming into play next week people are going to be pretty much swimming in the stuff so it is whatever.
Part of me is glad I was delayed in trying out this new patch material. The bugs and warnings about how to do certain new content bits are slow to trickle down the grape vine. Still sucks I cannot enjoy the new content on more then my ‘main’. Since my alts have not completed the rep unlock wall to access it, there is not enough time in the day to do that. Very alt unfriendly for me, I would do the new stuff on more then one alt if not for the hoops to jump through for new alts.

I got corrupted boots on my Warrior from I think the Assault, they’re 430s. But my main and monk alt got only the tutorial bracers as corrupted items.
im still uncertain if this is working as intended concerning the sockets
that still doesn’t explain the ilvl of the gloves. something is seriously off here.
I’m ~440 ilvl and barely (less than 100 sanity remaining) managed to clear 2 bonus obj. My reward is a piece of gear 10 ilvls below?

I guess it’s intended to be more for later progression when you have the sanity reduction.
Does make it feel particularly unrewarding at the moment though. Might as well just do the main boss for the upgrade and be done with it.
Saying 100% chance to get the best reward, does that mean that there’s a lower chance that we can get a lower reward if we, for example, repeat a full clear +5 masks (getting a lower than 470?)?
