Is anyone else having horrible frame rates in raid? I was getting around 15 fps. I had a 3080ti Founder’s Edition and AMD 5900X and 64GB of DDR4 ram. I even turned raid graphics to 1 and was still getting horrible frames.
I have since upgraded my computer. I now have a 4090 24GB and AMD 9950X and 64GB of DDR5 ram. I get around 18-28 fps during fights with a lot of effects like Rasha’nan and up to 60-70 when a lot of stuff isn’t happening. This is with the graphics preset set to 5. I did a fresh WoW install and removed a bunch of addons and weak auras but still getting crap fps for my specs imo.
Did Broodtwister last night and was getting 19 fps. IDK what to try other than lowering quality which seems like a waste on a system with my specs.

Iv been in raid finder, and i think i get about 100fps , game setting on 5, and i have 2080 8GB, and 8700 i7… wow is CPU heavy so you probably got a weak one
It is a $600-700 processor. I have no issues with any games except WoW and only in raids. Running on ultra in everything else in game getting 100+ fps. Other games running in ultra no issues.

Yes. Perf is behooving in the game right now. On my Mac hanging out in dornogol is fine. On my gaming rig (4070 ti super) hanging out in dornogol leads to significant frame dips - ~45 fps
I dont know something aint working right, im the event area and im getting 70fps
Yeah i’m using a 3070 and my fps dips big time in some busy areas like raids/bgs. I’ve lowered the settings some too.

I am fine outside of raid on Ultra settings. It only occurs during raid. I have checked weak auras and addons and still happens.

I mean i could Q for a raid just to see what it is , but the Q times for LFR are horrid
Something sounds seriously broken.
I have almost everything on “high” and I have only 1660Ti and I never fall below 60FPS anywhere(what I cap mine on)
I have an 11th gen i7.

the server lag is shameful for a sub based game. Blizzard either doesnt have the staff to fix or they dont know how

My PC was built in 2021 during the great graphic card shortage. I don’t ever waste money upgrading stuff, especially if it still preforms good enough for me. I never care to buy the fancy and expensive graphics cards

Yea i got my pc in 2019, its an Omen
The last two fights in the raid are brutal. That one where the webs go shooting out from the center, is that Silken Court? Game slows to a crawl. There are parts during the Queen fight that are also really rough. And it’s not my machine.
Try turning off guild news in guild info tab, its fixed the lag for some people.
AAA game companies don’t care about optimizing games anymore it cost to much money but yea something is off with the game.
On my 4090 I’m getting triple digit fps (graphics on 10) in the works questing.
In populated areas it fluctuates from 80s to 100 or so.
I do dip to 70s if there’s a big number of people and a lot of stuff going on . Like a raid sized group fighting.
I think it touched 60 once even.
But most of the time 100 plus.
Are you using an AMD processor or Intel?
