Horde Warriors Screwed Over on PVP Servers

The runes for Raging Blow, Consumed by Rage, and Flagellation all require you to go into Alliance territory to acquire items or kill elite mobs to unlock the runes. Having to go to Redridge, Wetlands, and Duskwood respectively. While Alliance never have to go into Horde controlled zones for any of their runes. (Ratchet is neutral so not counting it) How is it balanced on PVP servers to not have a Horde equivalent to these unlock requirements?

Non-issue on a PvE server.

These are not Alliance territory. They are contested zones.

Not a big deal. you only have to get them once.

Horde have plenty of advantages too, like how we can level to 25 without ever leaving a safe zone. And will be able to level past 40, similarly, without ever leaving a safe zone if we desire.

Even right now. Horde have RFC, WC, SFK, RFK all in safe zones for the lv 25 meta. Alliance only has DM.

If you want to start turning over rocks, horde can easily level 1-25 without ever setting a pinky toe inside contested territory.

Don’t start pulling threads on level 25 locked quirks, you might not like how the whole thing unravels.

They are not contested zones lol. WTF are you on. I play both Horde and Alliance. I’m not biased. Also warrior is my 3rd class I’m leveling, so not even my main. There is pvp in ratchet, but it’s a neutral city. It’s contested. Barrens is Horde controlled but to get the runes in Ratchet you never actually have to leave the town. And if Horde attack you in Ratchet they’ll be attacked by the guards. Way different than going into purely Alliance zones.

Yeah, that’s the point. Blizzard didn’t think to balance rune acquisition for pvp servers.

Its a Horde town in a Horde territory with neutral guards. We can’t attack Horde unless they attack us. Crossroads is up the road, Org is just zone above.

Horde need go into contested zones. Meaning they can attack Alliance. That also can mean you won’t get attack. I helped a orc warrior get Darkwood rune as a nelf hunter. Only because I need wardens. Then we parted.
But umm… Horde known be butts normally

You must have never set foot on a PvP server.

Alliance can easily lvl to 25 without ever going into Horde territory too.

There is 0 horde presence there, they are Alliance zones. Even STONETALON has an alliance base/ FP there. Literally every contested zone near Horde have an alliance FP, Thousand Needles, Hillsbrad, Ferelas, Desolace, Arathai. Wetlands, Redridge, Duskwood, do not LOL.

Do you not know the difference between faction controlled zones and contested zones? There is a Horde presence in Duskwood: northeast of Darkshire at the broken tower. There is no Alliance flight path in Thousand Needles. There is one far to the West in Feralas and one far to the south east in Tanaris.

I know the difference. It doesn’t matter what its labeled, I don’t consider it contested if there is no other faction presence and just because it is labeled as much. You know it, I know it, everybody know its.

Yes it does. Whining about “Alliance” zones that are actually contested just makes you look ignorant. But you are even more ignorant thinking there is no Horde presence in Duskwood and that there are Alliance flight paths in Thousand Needles.

LOL /ignore

There is a FP at the feralas/1k needed border. You’re ignorant. And again, no FPs any where near those “contested” zones. You are nothing but troll looking for reaction. Ignored.

And Blizzard dev already acknowledged and apologized for it, so Horde have every right to complain because it’s true.

pretty sure most classes have a major rune or two locked behind deep alliance territory. off the top of my head i know of: Starsurge, Incinerate, Wild Growth, Metamorphosis, Mass Regeneration, Icy Veins, Heart of the Lion, PW: Barrier, Circle of Healing, and Shiv all require a horde character to run deep into Duskwood, Darkshore, Redridge or Wetlands.

and that’s not even including the runes from Grizzby if you farm them yourself needing to kill mobs in wetlands for the drops

There is real concern for placement of runes in actual Alliance territory. Whining about them in contested zones, from players on the faction with PvP heavy racials on a PvP server, is pathetic.

Wait, I didn’t have to travel from Theramore Harbor up to Arathi, then west to Hillsbrad and then further west to Silverpine Forest to go to SFK?

Why do you have to lie to fake support your crybaby whining? Go to a PvE server if travelling to a contested zones is such a hardship for you.
