How does one “Best In Slot” a race?

by putting it in the race slot. duh.
Forsaken Racial is by far better for PvP. Orcs are still awesome though.
Undead are also easier to level with Cannibalize and swimming. But I’ve only leveled Orc Warlocks. Orcs look better. And that stun resist is good too.
Will of the Forsaken is very, very powerful in PvP.
And Cannibalize spites your enemies a thousand times more harshly than /spit.
Resisting a stun is infinitely better than getting out of a fear. Fear breaks on damage, stuns do not. Especially as a warlock considering if you can just CS anyone who casts on you while you’re feared.

Stun Resist is better than anything else offered by Horde Racials.
(I say this as I’m probably UD Priest in Classic)

WotF > Blood craze(-50% healing during its duration) + Command.
You get no benefit from your main racial and the pet damage won’t really make a difference in pvp. The stun is RNG heavy.
But what an RNG. You resist a stun, that could win you the fight.
Orc.
Your trinket as a warlock removes what WotF removes, but does nothing against stuns. They’re a warlocks biggest weakness.
Undead is the better choice, it offers ease of leveling with cannibalism and has a decent active pvp CD
Orc is ok for pvp with stun resist, but the extra pet damage isn’t really viable as in most groups late game you will be sacrificing your pet for the bonus.
UD is the clear choice but if orcs look better for you in appearance then roll with it,. The difference in power isn’t as great for warlocks on the horde side, as it is with the alliance (gnome or GTFO)
Edit: stun resist is nice, but only 25% 1/4 remember, and if your in melee you’ve done something wrong.
Back in vanilla when I would enter a battleground I would usually have my succubus out,(my preference) and any time a rogue would sneak up on you your succubus would immediately seduce them before they can get their burst off.

Either, main thing is you aren’t going AGAINST an UD lock
Orc are nicer for BGs due to stun resist. Literally 3/4 alliance are warriors, rogues, paladins. Guess what they all do? Wreck you with stuns.
The problem with orc though is that outside BGs, they bring nothing to the table. Undead has generally useful racials, good just about anywhere. I would not advocate a race that’s only useful in BGs when most players couldn’t care less about ranks. Btw, making an enemy watch you munch upon his corpse… it’s a good feeling.
Orc receives a higher standard DPS output on average due to their pet. This is based off private server logs and its marginal at best. It also requires you to spec into demo and not play DS.
Just play whatever you like, if its not weapon skill then its not important enough to care. Unless youre a Spriest.
