You mean Horde does not get any quest bonus by being in War Mode? Holy crow, man. So why are so few Alliance not doing quests with War Mode on. I swear, when I quest I see ten Horde for every Alliance.

I don’t turn warmode on even with 25%. Horde is ruthless. They will kill mercilessly.

Same here. It’s been easy win BGs and questing with warmode on, not worrying while i quest.

Seriously though, I quest WM on for the bonus. Being ganked occasionally for a nice bonus that basically means your neck level progresses 25% faster is worth it to me.

Regardless, and to answer your question, I honestly dont come to the forums much, and usually only to start a thread for some reason or other. In this case I am trying to decide whether or not I should role a horde toon. For a long time I have felt frustrated being Alliance, even though I have stuck with Alliance since starting the game.

If you are looking for my opinion, if you can’t pinpoint a solid reason for wanting to switch then you really don’t want to. You are just climbing on the bandwagon. Im going to be maining alliance come next expansion, and the complaints don’t matter. IMO you cant complain about a problem if you yourself perpetuate it.
Honestly, in my case I do all I can to max out my toons, right from level one. I enchant my gear when leveling, seek out the bis and/or something good, and then I usually run bgs and/or dungeons all the way to the highest level. And once reaching max level, I do the same kind of thing on at least one or a few toons. For example, I am currently running 14 and 15 keys at the same dungeons over and over trying to get specifc gear with the best secondary stats for my main.
The thing is, I never see alliance doing anything remotely similar, but think Horde is a lot more similar to my play style.

No, I mean, now that I’m horde, i don’t worry about that. I can play the game and get a free ten percent buff.
Horde has a higher level of hardcore players, yes. If being around a larger number of hardcore players is what is important to you then switching may be the better decision. If you really want to stay as alliance and don’t mind putting in extra effort to make what you want happen, stay. It’s really a matter of preference. You dont have to hold the same principle as me when it comes to this. It’s not like the fate of WoW is actually all that important in the grand scheme.
Personally, I feel Alliance has a issue that the community created, and is magnified by today’s gamers.
Simply put, they want to do the absolute bare minimum required to complete whatever objective is put on their screen, even if it is their best interests to do more.
I encountered this while leveling a tank by doing LFG. Players flat out refused to kill more then what was required to trigger the bonus XP. Despite everyone not being max level. I swear they are allergic to XP. I never encountered this on horde side. In fact players where grateful I was willing to do more. Alliance side, complained, kicked me, or left themselves… despite pulling fast and downing mobs in seconds.
There is nothing Blizzard can do to fix this. As requiring more is met with complaints from those same players.
