Horde turtles

I think the bonus honor during this event was not bad at all it is nearly at level 70 values. I do believe there is a glitch with the scoreboard and the amount of honor it displays as earned not being accurate even for bonus honor. Whenever my team would do an objective and get bonus honor, kill galv for example, i would see +84 honor, but when i open the scoreboard it shows +42 honor for everyone.

No, no more Alliance complaining about AV. The cave has been moved, reinforcements are in the game and there are no more Lts. Just learn how to play better. Stop drekking and keking; it was always a stupid strat that depended on horde cooperation.

It can be won if Alliance stops playing like cowards. I’ve won plenty of AB and WSG in the last week. You’re losing AV, Alliance, because you refuse to strategize. I don’t want to hear the whining anymore.

Yeah, the Prepatch double honor bonus was basically applied outside of what the match considered bonus honor. So it wouldn’t have been showing on any scoreboard.

yeah exactly. the problem is AV is notorious to the point of being synonymous for being the bg to join with the expectation of doing the least amount of activity to receive the most amount of honor for it. all the people on our team losing that we are talking down to how we could win if we do the right strategy don’t care, we are falsely assuming they all are in that bg with the initial expectation to want to win.

We will funnel them into the hot gates and there their numbers will mean nothing!

Turtle power, dude! :turtle:

I played horde during real TBC. turtling was the go to strat back then too. If we didn’t break the ally zerg at galvangar it was always a lose. I’m looking forward to actuly playing AV now and not just mindlessly zerging to the end.

It takes way more team coordination to hold an area and back cap than to just mindlessly zerg rush.

If the team with more coordination wins a team oriented game, I’d say that’s working as intended.

Well, you gotta earn that W.

What’s the point of this post? I’ve won a ton of AV’s recently.

Are you kidding me? I’ve had nothing but sub 1 min queues the entire pre patch you snake.

Turtles?! What turtles? This ain’t BFA… then turtles ain’t supposed to make it to the water.

Nah, but in all seriousness… wtf are you complaining about again? I haven’t had the need or desire to PvP in a while. But all I’m seeing is someone getting upset that they can’t win by speeding to the end and getting their 3 marks and 50 honor in 5 minutes?! When one faction repeatedly does the same thing over and over, the other one complains or changes their strategy. You know you get more honor per hour as horde if you drag the game out right? Even if horde lose, but cap most towers, mines, Balinda… etc, they get more honor per hour than if they were to win in 5 minutes.

  • I played alliance from 2005-BFA and only swapped to horde for classic to experience the side of the game I never had the chance to so long ago. But all this complaining about the AV meta… blah blah blah… it’s the same. I love all people who play classic WoW/tbc with me no matter what faction. Just have fun bro. Crash into the horde team in an AV every once in a while. You are kicking yourself in the butt by forcing a meta and then complaining about the other factions strategy change on a forum… simply because your honor per hour is apparently more important to you than enjoying your time in this game.

Also… how the turns have truly tabled. The day where the alliance players complain about having to do pvp in their “PvE” bg? Maybe you should try to queue BGs for fun and actual PvP instead of doing the meta for “muh honor.”

For instance… being a Naxx geared rogue… when everyone was complaining about the honor “nerf” I just strolled into SW and farmed random alliance that were PvP flagged or at the Menethil boats for about 1k honor per hour. Was it less than I could have gotten for doing BG? Yeah… did I have fun doing it? Hell yeah.

  • point is. Complaining about one faction changing their strategy to not waste huge amounts of time is no different than a toddler screaming at their siblings for them not wanting to “lose” the way they were “supposed to” and playing the game in a way that might actually entertain them. (horde queue for 30 mins to lose an AV with no PvP action and little to no honor was obviously going to shift the tactics eventually)

This is straight up false. I’ve lost several base races to horde who burned down Vann with 2-4 bunkers still up. It’s the same distance to travel from the horde cave to DB as it is to travel from the alliance cave to FWK.

If alliance want to play a defensive game, they should burn TP and IBT and take out Galv before they fall back to the bridge to farm out the last resources in HKs. Otherwise, they are down 300 resources (SHB, IWB and Bal) while getting farmed at SPGY. This map is one of the best versions for alliance to use the bridge to their advantage (if they stop respawning in the cave when SPGY is assaulted).

Also, why are alliance completely skipping IBGY? It’s one of the reasons we struggle to burn IBT and TP with horde having a respawn there.

The cave respawn needs fixed as well. Alliance still respawn in the cave if they are at SPGY when it is assaulted even when they own AS.

I have played both sides in every single expansion, and vanilla content, on characters with pursuit of justice, and without, and if both sides make a dash directly for RH or FA, Alliance will always get there first.

The whole reason Horde started turtling in vanilla classic, even with the cave forward from where it is now, is because the Alliance will always get there first in a base race.

shoulda kek’d

Because we don’t play the Battleground the way you want us to; because we actually enjoy killing your boosted toons as they run across the field of strife; because we try to save our towers and burn yours; that makes us toxic? Really? ROFL

This is the worst complaint I’ve seen in these forums. “WAAAAAAA, horde are playing the game! WAAAAAA!”

What makes this even worse is that on my alli toon, I never wait more than about four minutes for a queue to pop, and they are generally less than a minute. On my horde toon, the queues are always 14+ minutes, and frequently bump closer to 30 minutes.

So you are getting an entire "turtled "game in while horde sit in the queue.

That’s not because of the map. It’s the way both sides played a “race”. Alliance split at IB with some moving south to FWK, while horde stopped 40 players at SH. Alliance got to FWK before horde got to DB because alliance rushed it. Horde did not. I’m seeing a lot more horde race straight to DB now and they are winning the race as often as alliance in those games.

Im sitting here wondering how can playing defense be toxic. Oh, I know. OP is just salty.
