Yeah, it’s all very confusing, to be honest, but for the time being it’s the best information we have I suppose.
I’ll be interested to see how things pan out in Phase 2, because that feels like it’ll be when the server communities truly begin to settle down, and then we’ll know if having two RP-PvP servers is actually sustainable in the long term or not.
Me too. Classic+ could be a lot of fun, with Blizzard actually listening to the Classic Community that still remains after Phase 6, and asking us what WE want to see added to the game.
Or at least avoiding the mistakes of last time. While Blizzard certainly made some flat out mistakes of their own out of the blue, I think listening to player complaints when they shouldn’t have comprised its share of the mistakes as well.
I didn’t mean to imply that. I have found a lot of roleplay on Grobbulus but I also think it will pick up as guilds stabilize and levels equalize. Not because of new people, but also not in spite of them.
Or you could, ya’ know, help police the community like you’re supposed to. Blizzard is reactive, not proactive, when it comes to reporting names and Roleplay realms have naming rules.
World of Warcraft Role Play (RP) servers are intended to provide players with an added level of immersion in the game world. Names on RP servers must adhere to Blizzard’s Code of Conduct, and also must avoid being disruptive to the world.
Examples of common unacceptable or disruptive RP names include (but are not limited to):
Non-medieval or non-fantasy names (For example: Slipnslide, Robotman, Technotron)
Names that reference well known people, characters, brands, places, or icons (For example: Britneyspears, Austinpowers, Mcdonalds, Georgewashington, Newyork)
Names that consist of multiple words (For example: Inyourface, Welovebeef, Howareyou, Sixtyseventy)
Blizzard reserves the right to assign a random name to any character violating our RP naming policy. For more severe or repeat violations, we may apply additional penalties to the account.
I am reporting this thread for what it is: trolling. I will be reporting every non-Grob character for trolling since there is no reason to recruit for your pristine realm.
That’s perfectly within your rights. Just as it is within my rights to report your non-RP guild name in-game.
Hope you enjoy your new guild name, Guild ABCDEF. Ask all the people belonging to the dozens of asinine guild names on Grob we’ve taken care of over the last few weeks.
